His turnovers are definitely sloppy. The spacing is also absolutely terrible. Just an all around bad playoff offense.

It’s just so hard for him when there’s always at least one, and usually two players on the floor with him at all times who are complete non shooters. Not like, bad shooters, guys who straight up will not hoist.

It’s just been an army in the paint the entire series.

As much as Paolo’s inefficiency rightfully got talked about Cade is pretty bad in this category as well

Both in terms of missed shots and turnovers he’s miles less consistent than the top tier guys Pistons didn’t have a good halfcourt offense which you can get away with in the RS but not the playoffs

I’m still a Cade truther, the man is consistently sharing the court with at least two guys either negative gravity. You can’t win like that unless you have Steph and Klay on the floor, and even then that would be tough.

There used to be nerds here that said Cade is better than Luka and they’d rather build around him than Luka

I get that the Pistons don’t have ballhandling outside of Cade but 6.8 in this series is staggering.

I still think Cade is more of a Devin Booker and Khris Middleton than an elite hypercarry, heliocentric player like a Luka.

I think he’s a terrific 1b that a franchise and fanbase will confuse for a 1a.

In this era there is simply a difference between really good players and the super special natural savants that play from a place of basketball enlightenment. The sooner Detroit and their fans realize it the better they can avoid the mistake the Suns made by not doing things like pairing Luka and Booker when the opportunity was there.

He needs help. If anyone is slandering Cade for his TOs when he has no spacing around him, then they’ve lost the plot

I’m out on a draft prospect if he isn’t a reliable shooter. Amen and Ausar are in the top 1% for athleticism in the NBA. If you cannot shoot in today’s NBA, it doesn’t matter how athletic you are, you are a liability on offense.

Some work to do on the roster getting more shooting and a secondary creator, but Cade is doing all this with awful spacing and it’s pretty impressive in spite of the turnovers

Turnovers were always a problem for him, even in college.

He was shooting well at home, so I expect him to recover form when they go back to Detroit

Detroit has no spacing. Duren is shit. Thompson biggest trauma is his FT. Tobias can’t shoot open threes to save Detroit. Bickerstaff is unfazed he’s down 3-1. 🫪

People will glaze the PRA but that efficiency and Turnovers per game is pretty yucky.

He was already inefficient in the regular season, so this isn’t too surprising.

I’m not really a huge Cade fan but these kind of stats are why you can’t really trust the box score as a way to tell if a player is good. Cade has had a fine (maybe even good) series, he’s the only player who hasn’t been a meaningful problem for the Pistons.

The problem is the spacing around Cade is awful and he’s the only consistent creator for them, which means he has to force shots and passes to try to create offense. If Cade was in a better offensive system a lot of his shots would’ve been more open and his passes wouldn’t have to be so desperate, and given basically the same level of play he probably would have way better stats.

He has 24 turnovers games 2-4 Trajan definitely needs to shake up the roster

Thompson and Duran just can’t be on the court together for long stretches, they need another shooter that can the guard on the wing if you wanna count Tobias Harris.

Adding a guy that can create for themselves too would take a lot of pressure off Cades shoulders
