Raptors shot 32% and beat the Cavaliers 93-89
Did we witness the worst offensive performance in a playoff win?
Side note, this game just goes to show how important a strong defence is in the playoffs
kenny atkinson’s playoff coaching reminds me of bud right before he was about to get fired and changed it up, he used to think if you played giannis/middleton more than 36 minutes in a game they’d self combust on the floor
it’s 2-1, it’s the playoffs, Donovan/Harden need to be out there for 42+ minutes
Every East HC is showing their ass right now except for Crazy Joe
And my guy Darko!
Facts Darko is punching way above his weight, dude deserves a well constructed team
If Toronto had a well constructed roster, Nick Nurse might still be there averaging 50 wins a year
Imagine what he could do with the knicks roster lol
Omg how is this the first time I’m hearing this nickname for Mazulla 🤣🤣?!!
Normally I would agree but Spida was atrocious and prob would have been better off without him. Every time he checked in, Raps went on a run.Â
Spida and Harden are the reason we lost lol
If they’re gonna play like that we have no chance and keeping them out there longer wouldn’t have made things better
Allen/Mobley is the reason y’all lost. Allen is being guarded by RJ and can’t do anything. I watched Harden make great passes but Mobley and Allen weren’t expecting or ready for a pass even though they had a mismatch. A 6’6 rookie is outplaying your 2 star big men.
Allen/Mobley being so bad gives no help to Harden/Mitchell and allows them to be guarded so effectively.
I think they should play less the next two games. 14 minutes each
It’s the same in our series, the Pistons are playing 11 guys each game. Not that I’m complaining lol, but it’s playoffs, you play your top 8 or 9 guys and go from there
Harden with 6 first half turnovers, Toronto nightlife competitive advantage.
The harden strip club analysis is still the best post ever made on this sub.
It’s that and the “Why LeBron will sign with each team” for me.
LeBron will not sign with the Memphis grizzlies
LeBron will sign with the Lakers because he doesn’t want to be overshadowed by the Clippers goods
Unquestionably top 3 at absolute worst
That’s the key
Every gentlemen’s club in the city should bombard his hotel with a private limo and 5h free
LET UNCLE ROGERS COOK (parent company that owns the team)
Yes, both teams were horrible. That forced three by Mitchell at the end was just a perfect sum-up of the night.
I wouldn’t call that a “forced three” so much as a “request for three free throws” tbh
the lane was kinda open for a quick too as well
“Forced three. “
That just sounds like modern NBA.
No lie, I loved watching the supreme defensive effort in this game. That game clinching D from Shead was incredible
shead box score: horrendous
watching shead play defense: an honour
Many such cases throughout history of players having amazing games that look terrible on the box score
Wait you’re supposed to watch the games and not just look the basketball reference and pretend like you’re a data analyst?
Did you say Draymond?
It was a mix of not so good shooting and supreme defense.
Wild stats. The Toronto Raptors won Game 3 shooting 61% from three. Then they won Game 4 shooting 13% from three. Credit to the team’s defence and heart for being the only thing consistent.
Beating the Cavs 93-89 in the playoffs is actually hilarious.
Enjoy the Mike Brown experience
I think im getting used to it at this point.
Party like it’s 2003
Bron is coming to Cleveland in the draft again?
I think the Cavs could get Lebron James Jr yes
The hero Cleveland deserves, but not the one it needs
This looked like a game where only one team had experience of how to win when shots aren’t falling
Playoff Harden
More like Playoff Mitchell
The ref also let both teams play really physical on defence. Good that it was consistent all game then all the players had the same fair shot
Bc cavs shot almost as bad or worse lol
They already made 3 posts about this last night. Redundant content report
I could be a tinfoil hat but here’s my take. Each game generates millions of dollars in ads, tickets, and probably most of all losing bets.Â
Neither of these teams is going the distance. Cleveland is a rustbelt city and will squeeze out 7 games for the revenue. Toronto is also happy to toss the wins back and forth.Â
I think Cavs probably win game 7 at home. You can apply the same analysis to any series, especially bigger cities = more revenue, but they can’t make it look too obvious.  Â
Try on a bigger tinfoil hat. You forgot to account for how Silver seems to specifically rig the NBA against your team, and all the billionaire owners are using basketball to numb the public while changing local policies for their benefit.
I don’t have a team, don’t know who silver is but if he owns the NBA I’m sure he’s corrupt to some degree like all the team owners. Don’t know about that last part, but you could say the same thing about virtually all media, gambling, alcohol. Whatever man, I’m not saying the games aren’t real but it’s pretty clearly manipulated for maximum profit, because it’s a product. Unless you are saying it is not like every other product, which good luck with that argument.Â
