[Highlight] Behind 23 points from Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram, the Toronto Raptors defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 93-89 to tie the series 2-2. Toronto ended the 3rd quarter on a 12-2 run and ended the game on a 17-5 run to get the victory.
That’s funny. I was told Cavs in 4, Cavs in 5 at best.
I feel like it was not supposed to be a major shock if the Cavs made the ECF.
I got down voted so hard for saying we haven’t improved the last 3 years and wouldn’t be able to beat Boston much less OKC so didn’t matter if we won.
Most people had cavs in 6 from what I saw
What sports app do you use?
That must’ve been before people started overreacting to every individual game.
took insane luck and refs carrying you thru.
Stay bitter, lol
Cry more
Let’s get more creative with your excuses in game 6 okay lil buddy?
Mid off
Us being categorized as a mid playoff team this season is an accomplishment in itself. We weren’t expected to make the playoffs and we weren’t expected to steal 2 games from the Cavs this series
You guys have had a very good showing this year in my opinion. Finishing with 46 wins when oddsmakers had you at 38.5-39.5. Analytical models had around 38-41 wins.
Didn’t say it wasn’t good for the raptors
Flair up pussy
Does the lack of a picture below my name discredit what I said
Yes it does lol
The guy even has comment history turned off. Massive pussy energy.
Oh how right you are
It does tbh. Gotta have flair if you’re going to talk shit on the nba sub. I don’t make the rules
Dude is probably a Wizards fan or some shit
You might be legally blind if you watched that game and thought both teams looked good
Honestly, “mid” was being generous
Raptors ended every quarter on a run after the Cavs had built an 8 point lead. Lack of focus and effort toward the end of quarters is embarrassing. Props to the Raps to keep scrapping.
Kenny is getting worked by Darko so far.
The fact that Mitchell, Evans, and Mobley, can’t motivate this team on their own is pathetic after 3 or 4 years together. They’re supposed to be playoff vets, then add a guy like Harden, but keep playing sloppy and lazy ball and like they don’t know its the playoffs. Look out of sync on offense and foul instead of work on defense.
Ya, seemed like the Harden trade was a last stitch effort to build a championship team around Mitchell… if they don’t win this series, do the Cavs break this unit up and re-tool, or just re-build? Harden will be 37, Mitchell is going to be in a contract year. Seems like anything other than a championship this season is a failure for the Cavs.
It’s so tough to say but looking at OKC and Spurs lineups I don’t know how you compete with them just getting free agents… Almost seems like a good time to tank and try a rebuild for a few years. Only other option would be to try to hire Steve Kerr and see if he has some kind of magic he can infuse into our big 3, but again against the competition who knows.
I turned it off with four minutes left and raptors down 7. I’m a raptors fan and wanted to waive Ingram at that point.
What changed to lead to a win?
Jamal Shead happened
Greatest player to ever wear 23
Hands down. Can’t think of a single other guy tbh
You probably forgot about Fred Van Vleet Sr.
Cavs fouled on a three then turned it over on an 8 second violation the last two minutes. Two pivotal plays that shouldn’t happen with an experienced team. Then the raps defense forced Mitchell into a tough floater while down one and a heavily contested three down three.
Damn I’ll have to watch it
Has Toronto’s coach been making the correct adjustments after/during (halftime) of these games? That’s the part I care about the most
I’ve been skeptical about it for a little bit I thought in the beginning perhaps he was just a guy to get them through the rebuild/retool but he’s proven to be much more than that if the guys are playing this hard for him. I said a while back this would be the most interesting series of all of them because I thought Toronto would put up a fight very happy to see it
literally game/series saving adjustments. Playing cmb more, choosing to have scottie guard ball, sitting ingram longer for the hot hand, prob the most motivating coach, great rotations, etc. All year he’s been getting the best out of them. Never understood why some (def not all) fans wanted him fired this year
Putting Battle in the 4th last game, too
Good for him! Alright that’s awesome! Because I really like Darko and at the time I thought he was a good hire in the sense that I thought he could do kind of the basic stuff and I figured from the start guys would love him but that’s kind of where I thought it would end. So I’m not saying I thought he was the coach that would lead the tank but… y’know. Admittedly I didn’t think that highly of him and I thought perhaps he might be in a bit over his head and that first year I was like “ehhh” but you also have to look at what he had to work with
I think last year really opened my eyes up to how good of a coach he is and I’ve been watching this series but I hadn’t watched much Toronto basketball outside of that this year besides the odd game or two so I was curious if those fans wanting him fired throughout the year where justified or if they were just a bunch of idiots lol
Looks like a lot of them just didn’t know what they were talking about 😅
yea some of the fans who wanted that were complaining at dumb stuff like our young guys not being developed enough, occasional rotation complaint, n other little stuff. Reality of it is he coached this team to a top 5 seed after being expected to be a play in team. And found a way for all of the main 4 players to shine and play their version of ball but still giving lots of reps and opportunity to younger players. While being credited as the source of making non defenders like rj and bi care about defense more than ever and givng this team a top 5 defense.
Anyways i’m really happy we got him as a development coach cause he motivates the hell out of the guys and is really likable. But i’m even more happy he was able to coach winning basketball as well. Just a guy you hope preforms well so you can keep his vibes around a long time
Putting RJ on Allen has been very effective and has also helped take away the PnR between him and Harden where Jak was just getting cooked the first two games. They can switch that eve every time now and RJ has held his own fighting for rebounds
Rj is so fucking strong man
He’s always been a good coach, he trusts Poetl too much but other than that he’s.
It’s not his fault this team can’t drop an open 3 if their life depended on it
So glad Scottie was clutch af with the FTs
Darko has also made good adjustments
cavs getting exposed hard
Don’t we say this every year?
Yeah I’m just gonna say it: we aren’t very good at playoff basketball. The pressure or whatever just isn’t conducive to winning ball.
I think your biggest issue is that you’re sacrificing a lot if offensive to have two rim protectors but theyre both way too soft.
Scottie and CMB are just outmuscling them
They just played poorly today. I watched Game 1 and 2 and they were just so much better with shooting accuracy and coordination.
Today they felt incredibly out of sync and by the time they got themselves running in the 4th it was way too late.
Scottie and CMB took a while before they figured it out. It was the second half of game 2 where Scittie figured out that he could score on them
I mean I get that but still doesn’t excuse the poor play by the cavs today. I mean putting aside Scottie being a threat they just didn’t play well.
We’ll see where things are after next game tbh. Not a great way to enter game 5.
lol Cavs fans are quiet now after being loud and obnoxious as fuck after game 2

As someone who escaped Ohio and is now lucky enough to call Toronto home, I can understand why you’re so angry. It sucks there, basketball’s all you have.
Hey now, the Browns just got Justin Jefferson
Truth be told, I was born into a Steelers household. You can basically see Pennsylvania from the river in East Liverpool, so it follows, I guess.
I actually like Toronto the city, and I really don’t care, everyone leaves Ohio at some point, it’s the victim of corporate greed.
And the victim of unpunished pollution, zero maternity leave, abysmal healthcare, a corrupt government, a stubborn unwillingness to pivot away from its industrial roots, a lack of investment in innovation/social safety nets, terrible housing standards, an opioid epidemic, legal unlicensed weapons, gerrymandering that makes any of that pretty much impossible to solve, and JD Vance.
I could go on. It sucks to live there, and I meant it when I said I understood why you were so angry about basketball. You care about what you can care about. Ohio makes life harder than it has to be. Get out if you can. Pittsburgh was my family’s first move upward and outward.
The pretentiousness truly screams former Ohioan , be better. And yes I hate all of those things.
I was trying to be nice/understanding about why your panties are so twisted. Be less triggered
Every fan base has a small minority of these losers. It doesnt reflect on the fanbase as a whole just some stupid asshole online. The majority dont cheer for injury.
I saw a thread announcing IQ’s injury status with a looooot of upvotes on your sub.
Yup mad?
Stay mad.
You have a wonderful way with words
Shout out to Mitchell for going back on the crowd and checking up on the people he fell to chasing the basketball.
Same final score as game 7 of the 2016 finals
Turns out you don’t win when your most important player shootings 25% from the field
RAPS IN 4
Lets fucking go!
