The Raptors haven’t had a guard who can get his opponent on his hip reliably for a long time. They’re always going to have shitty offense without this kind of player even if all the guys develop a shot. They can’t force the other team to go on rotation and close out.

I disagree. Scottie almost never just beats his man like that, he usually just plays bully ball and posts up.

The team has no spacing because they all just collapse into the paint instead of rotating and closing out. Even if cmb develops a shot it will still play out the same way… the Raptors offense has been like this for a long time.
