[Highlight] Check out the first father-son assist in NBA playoff history between LeBron James and Bronny James through the Phantom camera.
If the clip was two seconds longer, it’d show LeBron shoving Bronny into defensive position with a scowl. Fatherhood < Playoff intensity.
That part was perfect, movie shit
This entire playoff run with Bronny has made me like LeBron WAY MORE than I ever thought I would.
I could recognize his greatness and talent and everything he’s done, but I never liked him.
But how the hell can you not be a little romantic about the story of a father and his son playing in the NBA playoffs together only a couple years removed from the son almost dying from cardiac arrest, and not knowing what would happen.
Oh, and the father is inarguably one of the top few guys to ever step on a basketball court. And he’s fucking 41 and still doing it at the HIGHEST level as the #1 option on the fucking LAKERS.
Movie shit is right.
“Get back on D before I whoop your ass”
that’s just the other part of fatherhood. Giving your kid a little push when they need it
Ref, they got 2 Lebron James on the court at the same time, do something!
Sir a second Lebron hit the league
Fortunately he’s not very good
He deserves to be there.
Which makes him better than almost everyone on earth.
Hahaha good point, he’s not “very good for an NBA player” but he’s still in the top few hundreds in the world!
Yeah, he’s grown on me since he backed into the league.
I think he would have made it more “legit” if he hadn’t had the heart attack and had his entire life derailed.
But I really think he’s proven he should have a spot on an NBA roster.
I could probably take him. I have a very explosive first step.
You never know
I would suggest watching ‘The Scallenge’ on YouTube, though honestly Scal was known as a really good 1v1 player and has a ton of size on Bronny…

When you step back and look at this moment it’s truly fucking crazy how both of them got to that point
Its significantly more crazy how one of them in particular got there.
Lebron playing at an all star level at 41 or the guy who came back from a cardiac arrest? Both are pretty crazy in my eyes.
LeBron is a remarkable athlete.
Yup, one might even say he’s a crazy good athlete.
No. That’s GOAT territory.
There is only one GOAT.
Black Jesus aka Micheal Jordan.
So your point was that it’s crazier how bronny got here?
Bronny “Black God” James
LeBron clearssssss Jordan lmao
He’s not only an NBA player he’s going to be a good role player in the future. Plenty of instances yesterday where he made the right play on the offensive end without getting rewarded because someone had their head turn or didn’t feel comfortable making a pass. He’s got great basketball IQ.
If he could consistently make entry passes without turning it over, he’d be in the rotation.
His defense is there, decision making is there. Instincts not quite there.
thankfully he is literally LeBron James
This joke does not get old. It’s too fun
he’s going to be a good role player in the futur
I don’t know. He still can’t pass. He still can’t shoot. He’s only 6’2 but can’t run an offense. His defense is good but there’s no sign he’ll be a super dominant defender. We’ll see, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
All rise for LeSperm’s ascension to the throne
One thing bronny has over pops is better hair, even in his youth LeBron never really grew it out at all
leBron had an afro at some point lol. It’s that headband that took all his hair away
Only at svsm, in the league he’s always kept it pretty short. As in, shorter than Bronny has it now
That’s them Savanna genes
underrated finish too.
Definitely a moment to remember
It’s funny how so many people were saying that Bronny had no business going 55th in the draft when the 54th pick (Anton Watson) played 9 games and is out of the league. Sure he was a project but he obviously has the drive and physical tools to become a decent roll player in the league. Hell, a ton of lottery picks are busts. Anyone that late in the draft has a high probability of not making it very far in the league, so dumb that people got up in arms about it
He earned his minutes
would have been nice to hear Bill and Stu call it
quick reminder: When LeBron was drafted, the Utah Jazz were two months removed from having both John Stockton and Karl Malone
This is absolutely bananas. We’ll never be lucky enough to have a superstar like LeBron again, but we’re lucky enough we got to see his various primes. Blessed.
I remember in 2018 I made myself watch every game of the playoff run and finals because “I don’t know how many Bron seasons we have left”
pure cinema
Bronny james is indeed not ass
FUCK ALL THE HATERS!
Bronny showed out last night. Proved he belongs in the league
all time moment. unreal
