Mostly the back issues and dead legs on 81 games played. But you could see against Miami he got a bit shook for a second.
I think that’s a pretty normal experience for a rookie though, and something that is just going to make him go even harder this offseason. He’s not scared of work and he wants all the smoke. He’ll figure it out.

People forget Harper was genuinely close to Flagg at the beginning of the college season, before getting plagued by an ankle injury and illnesses. Not passing him close but close to the point it was viewed as Harper is closer to Flagg than the field to Harper. The Rutgers dumpster fire also didn’t help.

He’s actually next to Castle or Harper in the games. Usually drawing a solid defender. He just plays off ball with them to let them develop this season. It works well this way so Castle and Harper can take turns and don’t get the best defender.
Castle/Harper combined for like 60+ points doesn’t happen if their playtimes aren’t staggered. Fox next to them helps draw a talented defender away letting them cook. That’s the perfect combo

How is it a bad thing to back up and learn from a career all-star clutch player at your position for a year or two? There’s no rush.
The rush is it gets more expensive to get rid of him the older he gets.
And it’s a bad thing to be stuck behind a player you’re better than, and have the potential to be MUCH better than.
He’s already better defensively, and is more physical overall as he showed today with his 10 rebounds. He’s looking like he could already be better at everything else as soon as next season. The only argument for Fox is experience, but Harper looked like the experienced one tonight.
They should only move him if there’s an opportunity to get better. Otherwise, his contract doesn’t really interfere with many years of their extensions

and he still helps the Spurs, this season and in future ones He plays off ball next to each of them. And he’s benefited the team in many ways along the season.
Spurs aren’t moving him unless there is the right deal and i doubt that is coming along.
Spurs have a lot of guys to develop like Carter in addition to other guys. They are more likely to get stuff with draft or free agency
We got him for peanuts and he brings veteran PG experience and clutch plays. Unless we can get a truly huge upgrade for a power forward, chances are we’re keeping him.
