It sounds funny but is actually pretty amazing considering it’s a playoff game for a franchise like the Lakers.
I just like that after all the nepo-baby talk, Bronny turned into a fine bench-minutes eater so far and a great G-league player. He’s not done developing but he has all the makings of a solid two-way player.
If we’re being real, the nepo baby talk still applies. He was given the opportunity to develop and prove himself; tons of guys don’t even get that chance.
True but taking the chance to develop someone that literally has genetics from the greatest basketball player ever isn’t that egregious
And even last year you could see that he had insane athleticism and good IQ. He improved that 3 ball this year and has looked decent the past few months.

Fair. There’s probably a lot of G Leagues guys who could be solid players if they catch a chance. That was basically Jeremy Lin and Isaiah Thomas. Zach Baun in the NFL. Brian Scalabrine’s “I’m closer to LeBron than you are to me” rings true
The nepo talk is just a weird talking point and it’s usually said about specific people.
There are people in way more positions of power that have way bigger influence over things that give family members positions and it’s never addressed.
I also feel that the children of great players have a difficult time being themselves without the comparisons. LeBron is a one in generation player. Bronny won’t be him, which should never be the comparison. I think Bronny knows that and even in his minutes he’s played, he showed he belongs.
Everyone everywhere has a privilege of nepotism in any aspect of life. Grown people who are crying about it, are just hypocrites and envious. Move on, get better.
Not only the opportunity in general, but obviously the advantages in access to health and training that 99.9% of others wouldn’t.

Whioe i completely agree with you, i have to point out the hypocrisy of many fans criticizing bronny but let other nepo babies slide (giannis brothers, scoty pippen jr etc) because there is no lebron hate factor
He has been given WAY more grace than anyone else would. It’s paying off, but it probably would have paid off for everyone that was given up on.

No lie, these minutes are very beneficial. A regulare game is a regulare game but this is a game that means something. JJ is playing him (he kinda has to) but Bronny is not a negative..
