[Highlight] The Los Angeles Lakers get the final stop in overtime and defeat the Houston Rockets 112-108, and now lead the series 3-0. LeBron James led the Lakers with 29 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.
Marcus Smart legacy game
we got him for 5 million
we let go of DFS who missed 4 straight wide open 3’s tonight
why do the lakers make such good trades
We need to have a conversation about Pelinka as a GM
It was actually LuGM. Luka called up Smart twice apparently
I can see the clips now of ESPN talking heads asking, “Is LuGM better than LeGM? Some are saying that.”
We didn’t trade for him, he was waived, and we definitely have an advantage in getting waived players.
Robs trades are OK. The Westbrook move was catastrophic and probably cost Lebron and AD another chance at a title, but around the margins getting Rui and Luke have been good.
And he traded for some guy called Luka Doncic but he’s not even getting minutes in the playoffs so I don’t know how good of a trade that really was.
Outside of the Westbrook trade and stuff he had to do under Magic, he’s consistently been patient and getting us plus value in moves.
This offseason is going to be his next huge test. Besides Luka, basically all our favored players are expiring and he needs to keep the good and find a way to upgrade and add depth. It’s not an easy task
Rob pelinka knows ball
Rui for Nunn and a bag of chips, Nard for Gabe and one 2nd.
Flipped the Miami bros for two of the best (low volume) 3PT shooters in the league.
LeGM might be the GOAT.
Fr, would’ve been an L without him
They have got to find a way to still give him big minutes even if Reaves and Luka come back. Bro was so insanely clutch, Lakers lose easily without him.
Reaves would come off thr bench for a game or 2. Smart would still be a starter even if reaves and luka are back in the starting line up but usage will go down naturally. His hustle is what will be needed.
Yea I agree. Reaves would need to be eased into the game. I can see JJ bringing him off the bench to ease him in and have some scoring. We ain’t got any scoring from the bench since Rui and smarts are starting.
Regardless, he will be playing important minutes throughout. Dude has shown he is needed.
Perfect time would be game 4. No pressure - ~15 minutes, 70-80% speed
The way he manages to impact the game so much while not even having the ball is insane.
Bronny and laravia gonna sit. Marcus isn’t/shouldn’t be losing any minutes for AR coming back.
Jake will probably be a healthy scratch when they are back so that frees up 15 minutes right there. He is still going to play 25-30 minutes a night.
How many legacy games does this guy need
He had that sneaky steal to somehow incrediblly make it a one possession game with 25 secs left down six when everyone had stopped playing. Then he hit like 9 clutch ass ft in a row to ice that game. Absolutely incredible. Never seen anything like it before when you combine it with 41 year old LeBrons clutch steal three pointer to tie. Crazy. IQ differential is infinite.
And he almost broke his teeth
What LeBron is doing shouldn’t be possible. Ik it’s said every game but he’s 41 and just played 45 minutes, with a near 30 point 10 reb game
And made the clutch steal and three to tie it in regulation.
I thought game was over until i saw the highlight.
He cannot keep getting away with this.
I swear he was getting gassed towards the end with some dumb plays he made, but all of a sudden his clutch limit break activated.
I can only assume he lives in an ice chamber between these games
Should’ve been a triple double if these bums could sink their open threes.
Tale as old as time
Jabari Smith Jr started the comeback for the Lakers lmao
getoffmydickerson must be furious right now
Or gleeful
and then Smart doing everything + the refs letting us cheese those jump balls over and over secured it
Remember the time when folks used to compare Bron and KD
KD became an all time great but somehow the gap only got bigger
It’s crazy that somehow LeBron is widening the gap as the oldest guy in the league.
Shit, KD might retire before LeBron does
KD is doing everything in his power to outlast Bron
Gonna have more chapters than a textbook.
That’s because people only looked at KDs scoring.
LeBron has always been the better player, unfortunately when you don’t like someone you will justify your distain for them.
He can’t even navigate a double team.
Bron’s scoring just isn’t always aesthetic enough for people and it makes them underrate it
Did he ever really catch up?
2012 broke him imo, thunder were supposed to be the next dynasty and got dad dicked by the heat
Close but no cigar or was it even close
People compare Prime Bron vs Current Nikola in this sub
2014 was the closest its ever been when kd won mvp. then 2015 he got a jones fracture injury and curry bursts into the scene and wins a ring and goes 73-9, then chokes horrendously in 2016 conference finals and goes to the team he loses to. i do have to say that jones fracture limited him that year because he legit looked better 2012-2014. although kd did look like the more dominant player in those 2 finals vs lebron and won finals mvp over curry, no way in my conscience is he better than curry cuz curry beat him in a head to head matchup and ran to him.
and then guys like giannis and jokic win more legitimate rings and kd isnt even clear cut 3 because curry took the 2 spot, especially after beating the celtics in the finals while kd got swept by them. back in 2014 it was lebron then kd and everyone else. now in 2026 it goes lebron then curry then jokic/kd/giannis and possibly shai coming up even tho i dont like him
And Steph!!!!
lakers sent us to 2nd rebuild this decade
Can yall just trade KD and hope FVV is back…that should be good enough
Not to get out of the first round
And Steven Adams
All you really need is a couple of playmakers and shooters besides a new coach. Call it a soft rebuild.
we aren’t gonna go into rebuild stop acting like a bitch

That’s Lebron’s legacy
LeLonte West
#IM TALKING BOUT THE MAN ON THE LAKERS!
LEBRON JAMES.
NO MESSAGE COULDVE BEEN ANY CLEARER
Cos they got Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard, and then LeBron, the real big 3
His availability is his greatest strength. Curry hurt, kd hurt, Wemby missing time, butler hurt, Giannis hurt, Luka and Reaves hurt, etc., meanwhile Lebron at 41 still playing 45 mins in an OT playoff game. Unreal athlete.
The only times he didn’t have to carry team was his first couple of years in Miami and two years in Cleveland. Dude been carrying teams and playing hella minutes his whole career.
I feel like he split the load decently with AD in 2020
By far the most playoff games ever played and still hasn’t missed one. It’s insane.
holy shit, really? I just assumed he would’ve missed one at some point, like even just a single game. That’s actually insanely impressive over a career that long
I don’t think many of us saw this coming.
I don’t think many any of us saw this coming.
I hate how betting has become ubiquitous with the NBA but someone had to have made a huge amount of money from this
At this point will KD even play Game 4 and try to save his Houston comrades?
even if we won today he wasnt gonna play
Truthfully, ever since it was found out that he was getoffmydickerson, he was done with the team.
Jabari saying KD needed to figure out how to deal with being double teamed makes me think the team is just as done with KD as he was with them
The fuckery is prolonged
I will say this again, somebody needs to investigate Tate and Ime i have never seen smth like this.
That lebron 3 was magical.
This one was never really in doubt at any point.
Nah we were down 6 with like 15 seconds to go or something. Somehow Smart and Bron came up with huge plays to tie it. It should have been over there.
man i’m high and this made me laugh my ass off
edit: thanks
KD hasn’t won since he left Wardell. Those fmvps need to be discussed
KD really was a monster those Cavs series but obviously he didn’t have to worry about double teams with Steph and Klay
Enjoy this fckery while it lasts
“NBA teams were 1713-1 when leading by 6 or more in the last 30 sec of regulation in the playoffs in the last 29 years.
They are now 1713-2. Rockets are the 2nd team in 29 years to blow a 6+ point lead in the final 30 seconds of regulation, joining the 2024 Knicks.”
how about up 6, 30s left, with possession?
The articles about the Rockets after they get swept are going to be incredible
Breaking News
Ime slept with KDs mom
she’s the real MVP
Counts as a sweep for Kd whether he plays again or not
MR BROOMS
Its been a while since a team KD has been on won a playoff game
Cj Stroud being at this game was the funniest part of all of this. Houston fans have had a rough start to the year.
To be fair, all Americans have had a rough start to the year
Unfortunately for both the Texans and Rockets Stroud was the best passer in the building today
Didn’t know Jabari Smith was playing for the Lakers.
Jabari even fouled Sengun while contesting that LeBron 3 to tie the game
Forget a win. I’d be surprised if uncle Bron can even walk tomorrow
Aw yes Lakers being the first team to go up 3-0 as we all expected
after game 4, i think rockets let go of KD’s dickerson
Lebron got MJ fans looking at highlight clips on youtube…. While Lebron is still showing he can lead a playoff team this late in his career. Wild.
Ime Udoka really needs to spend time understanding how to motivate his team against lesser opponents.
Lebron has been saving his energy for years for this moment only
LeBron is 41! This fuckery wo… ahh who are we kidding
“Houston, YOU have a problem”
What even was that play?
These bozos completely threw a game that was won and some of yall still are gonna find a way to say that’s KD’s fault because he’s not a leader
I’m not even trying to troll but is it widely accepted here that LeBron is taking some type of PEDs? Idk how a 41 year old at 6’8 can maintain that physique while going through a nba season
