5 points
2⁄2 FG, 1⁄1 3PT
9 minutes, +\- of +4
Without Bronny’s points the Lakers lose this game. #BronnyGoat #JustAGrandsonFromOhio
MORE PLAYOFF POINTS THAN ZION
More than Lamelo
More than Lauri
More than Jordan
Better playoff record than Wilt.
Thanks Magic
That statement makes my blood boil
100% playoff record, š
Bronny is like āwhat like itās hardā?
“I might be better than my dad”
imagine lakers winning 6 rings in a row and bronny 6-0 in the finals “i redeemed my dad” š¤£
Or Lebron sr can just take credit of Lebron jrās records
Ayo
Outscored the whole HOU bench by himself.
Bro is literally if Omniman and Mark teamed up vs the world
he saw minutes in two of their Minnesota loses last year
+4 and the Lakers won by 4, just sayingĀ
5 points and the lakers won by 4
that means the Lakers wouldve lost without Bronny’s 5 points!
Thats just a fact tho
So an average Magic twit.
impact
Down one, game on the line - I want the ball in bronnyās hands.
And the coolest sequence by a father son duo of all time
But just think of who we couldāve drafted at 55?! Are we sure it was worth it??
But the 55 pick couldāve been anything. It couldāve even been Bronny James!
Iād much rather piss off the guy who made my team relevant again
Better than back to back Griffey homers?
LeBron is up 3-0 without his 2 best teammates while sharing minutes with his own son
wtf
The take your kid to work day is ongoing
Legoat without 50% of his salary, next man up 2nd round pick shooting 3s and finishing lobs
Should definitely see minutes over LaRavia.
Nah bro LaRavia gives us so much hustle, size, and defense. Even though he sucks balls at offense, he has been pretty helpful
Idk man, heās getting very close to Vando levels of unplayable offensively and since they both come off the bench you cannot play them together or else the entire offense will go to shit.
Itās gotta be either or to me and I think Vando does a marginally better job at the hustle, size, and defense that you mentioned plus Iāll add rebounding too. Not much better so itās splitting hairs but ultimately you just cannot play them together. Which is really sad cause Laravia was a great 3pt shooter last season and this season heās been Dalton Knecht level badā¦
At least with Bronny you get something offensively and you get something defensively. Heās not Vando defensively but heās honestly been playing pretty good defense in his minutes so far, and teams canāt just ignore him on the offensive end so that a huge plus for the team offense in general compared to Laravia or especially Vando.
Heās a streaky shooter that earns his minutes from defensive hustle.
You have to give him some minutes to see how the shot falls. If heās on, let him play. If heās off, limit him to defensive minutes in lineups that can make up for his lacking offense.
He isnāt āDalton Knechtā level bad, not even close. Knecht is also a streaky shooter but heās got like zero natural basketball IQ and canāt be trusted on defense. Laravia is like a poor manās JR Smith without the same athleticism. LeBron knows how to use these types of players in his lineups, and thatās why he will continue to get minutes.
Vandoās been better than Jake straight up. And I love Jake, but heās been off since March. Not really sure what happened to him. Vandoās been playing good D this playoffs
Iām not gonna disagree, he seems to be struggling to keep up with the pace and his confidence is down right now for sure.
The only thing I disagree with is that heās āDalton Knecht level bad.ā Imagine if we had been giving Dalton Knecht anywhere near the same amount of minutes, and how disastrous that might have been lol
he’s dogshit. He is unplayable.
He’s a live body and the Lakers don’t have better choices. This is not OKC’s roster.
Was good guarding KD (even tho he fouled a lot) but had crazy butter fingers tonight
Sometimes yes. Today he was absolutely a net negative. Could secure a ball, could catch, wasnāt looking to score at all even when he was under the basket
I think heās had an overall good year but he was fucking brutal today.
I don’t like this post because you made me remember the easy rebound that he should’ve collected but which he fumbled instead
he fumbled the ball multiple times. Bronny was a true pro out there.
I was a neutral watching the game and that scenario made me so unbelievably peeved LMFAO. Horrendous plays like that always make things mildly harder to watch.
As a hate watcher, I take great joy in watching Jake Laravia every time he hits the floor. There’s no shot Knecht or literally anyone else on the bench could be worse, no idea how he gets minutes
Jake can at least play some defense. Knecht is a cone on defense and cant shoot anynore
You underestimate how bad Knecht is
You must not watch the Lakers much, Knecht is literally the worst player on the team. His 3 ball isnāt reliable and he is by far the worst defender on the team. At least Laravia can play a little D.
Wish the Charlotte trade stayed, that was Knecht at his peak value. Hows Mark Williams been anyway
Laravia might be a bonehead but at he hustles and isnāt a complete cone. Knecht is a liability in non garbage mins
Defense is why Dalton is unplayable
Jake had a bad game but heās been solid overall.
I think every playoff game so far where he has stepped out (3).
He has done something to either give up points/fouls/turnovers in the VERY limited minutes he plays.
I didnāt watch the Lakers much in the regular season but my reaction to seeing LaRavia in the playoffs has been āI hate this dudeā (in a basketball sense). I donāt like his game at all and he does dumb stuff you canāt get away with when you arenāt that good at the sport.
This pretty much says it all.
Bullshit! Bronny should be ranked higher than that.
Bronny is an NBA player
That is all
People said he was so bad that he was taking someone elseās spot to get drafted. Meanwhile Zaccharie is getting DNPs in the playoffs
In fairness, this is the result of LeBron investing heavily in his success. LeBron himself didn’t have all the help Bronny had, and was still a better player; imagine if he did.
That really is not fair to Bronny. Just look at Bryce or MJ’s kids, it’s not as simple as just investing in their success, they also have to develop NBA level skill and athleticism and work ethic which is EXTREMELY hard to do no matter what your resources are. A TON of NBA athletes have kids that have similar resources and don’t turn into rotation players. Did he have resources that the vast majority of kids don’t have? Yes. But he also deserves a ton of credit for his development, especially considering he missed his most crucial developmental year after suffering a fucking cardiac arrest and basically dying on the court. Like, let’s give Bronny some credit here
Like, it’s not just a result of Lebron investing in his success and having resources. Bronny also deserves credit for being an NBA level player.
If we don’t even consider his dad, he was a top 30, 4-5 star high school recruit who suffered a cardiac arrest his freshman year. He very nearly died and missed a year of development and 3 years later is getting legit rotation minutes in NBA playoff basketball. Like, regarfdless of family, he deserves a fuckton of credit for all of this, at this point he has earned this shit
No one said Bronny was a bum who doesn’t practice and arrives late to meetings but is kept on the team because of his dad. Yeah, he’s holding up his end professionally. Happy?
Now, can you admit that countless recruits with his kind of school resume more often fall by the wayside than not, because they don’t have his father’s influence? On top of this, a heart condition like the one Bronny had will almost always scare teams away. But we all acknowledge that LeBron got the Lakers to draft him, and will draft Bryce as well, right? You can say other players could get the same training and nutrition regiment to give their kids a leg up, but none have been able to get their team to draft both his kids while they were still playing, especially with the leverage James has. Yes, Bronny is earning those minutes, but we’ll never know if he’d be pushing as hard if he didn’t have his dad literally next to him on the bench pushing him as well.
Fuck are you crying about. Thats literally everything in life. Jesus christ you are reaching so hard just to hate.
No shit the more investment you put into something the more likely they are to become successful. Water a plant, it grows, neglect it and it withers.
Fucking dumb as shit take. Do you spend the same amount of time hating on Ben Simmons? Talented as shit but could not just get it together mentally? Or on Bennet, Bagley and Fultz for not performing to their pick?
Can you acknowledge that it takes a different mix of opportunity, physical gifts, and talent to be in the NBA and having a superstar dad is not the biggest advantage?
Fucking wow nepotisms gets you opportunities type take.
Despite this being a hilarious featured statline, he looked legit
On a side note, this is what college Marcus Smart looked like. A dude who just hustles and makes winning plays in various ways.
his literal largest issue, and I can’t believe I’m saying this because it shouldn’t be that difficult, is making entry passes to the low block or setting up DHOs. It feels like a guaranteed bobble or turnover ever single time.
He absolutely needs to work on it this off season youāre right. I will say I think he has gotten better at that part of his game, earlier this season and last he could hardly get the ball over half court and now heās doing that in real playoff minutes, but the next step is being able to actually make those entry passes and start the offensive set.
If he wants to be a legit role player he has to get that skill down pat no questions asked.
Definitely agree with you 100%, but I think Bronny will develop these kind of skills quickly and he will flesh out into a full NBA player sooner rather than later. His dad has one of the best work ethics we’ve ever seen so he will be on Bronnys ass if there is any slacking.
Entry passes are legit difficult, we spent years without being able to find capable passers for Embiid outside of Simmons and an aging Batum
Forget talk about Lebron carrying his teammates to victory. Here he’s creating his own teammates.
LeBron doesn’t just create for his teammates; he actually creates his teammates.
maybe bronny is a good luck charm for bron like thanasis for giannis. remmebr that series where thanasis had covid and giannis was all messed up
Do they live together
No, Bronny got his own apartment in LA
Winningest player
Bronny āI donāt loseā James
Undefeated!!
ma boi undefeated in the playofffs
Unironically. Deserves more mins than Laravia
How’s 2024 #1 pick Zaccharie doing in the playoffs compared to #55 Bronny?
bronny jr is NOT lebronās son bro open your eyes š heās actually his GRANDSON and this has been hidden for YEARS
think about it⦠how does LeBron James still move like that at his āageā? exactly. because thatās NOT his real age. real files got sealed by the government. people say he came into the league in 2003 but thatās just when they allowed him to appear publicly. before that? 20 YEARS in military service. elite program. experimental conditioning. they donāt talk about it.
and during that time⦠life still happened.
bronny jr? accident. unplanned. timeline didnāt match the image they were building so they flipped the story. made him the āsonā instead of grandson. easier to control the narrative. media just runs with whatever theyāre told anyway.
you ever notice how Bronny James and lebron sometimes look like theyāre from completely different generations? like not even father-son but⦠skipped a layer? yeah. exactly.
and the secret service?? donāt even get me started. theyāve been protecting this secret because lebron was part of a long-term project. not just basketball. bigger than that. global influence type stuff.
Honestly makes total sense, couldn’t agree more…
Totally unrelated but how high are you?
Yes
Just wait til he fully hatches
Bronny actually has more points and playoff appearances than Zion and Lamelo combined
Our best draft pick in past 3 years
… The two huge clips tonight were his only points?! š
That was like the entirety of his minutes
Only two shots too
With how close it was, we probably lose without Bronny.
honestly wish he got more minutes this game, he was playing good defense too
Thats should wrap the MVP debate
LeSperm my Per/36 demon
Should honestly be getting more minutes
Outscored an entire bench
Nepotism wins again
the prince that was promised
Bron Sr and Bronny Jr leading the Lakers to a sweep. Never been done in NBA history
Idt anyone got the best of him while he defended. One three pointer I think but he contested well without fouling
super excited to see his next regular season with some of the confidence he gained from this game future series
He may never lose a game ever
LeProphecyĀ
Bronny > Luka + Reaves
Is bronny better than Joker? GOAT answers only please.
I mean… 100% FG, you literally can’t get any better. Fuck, shut down the league, it’s been solved.
GOAT jr
More efficient than the greatest offensive player of all timešÆ
On pace for a 30 pieceĀ
Itās going in the documentary for sure !!
Bronny is built different.
I saw on the other post where someone said bronny scores 5 and Lakers won by 5 lol.
LeBron is Captain Planet, Bronny is Mati. Rui is Gi, Ayton is Kwame, Wheeler is AR, Luka is Linka.
Hey Luka. Weāre good. Bronny is here.
He outscored the Houston bench. They only had 3pt
Nice meme!
TS merchant
dalton knecht forgotten in shambles
the f*ckery will continue
Lakers might just win the championship this year
Lakers only won by 4 so they would have lost if it wasn’t for Bronny!
If LeBron signs a veteran contract the next ring is known.
Nnaji scored 10 pts the other night, 2-2 FG, 1-1 3PT with 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Why didn’t he get his own submission like this one?
