Jokic has the biggest community dickriding defenders I’ve ever seen, maybe besides Bron. He is NEVER at fault and constantly gets excuses made for him.

It won’t, the only time he’s beaten a 50 win team in the playoffs was last season’s Clippers. His teams keep consistently underperforming in the playoffs, but it doesn’t matter because he gets triple doubles in the regular season vs bum centers who can’t defend him.

Let’s talk efficiency. Jokic’s career +TS% is 113. His career playoffs +TS% is 107. Basically he drops from having a TS that’s 13% higher than leave average to one that’s 7% higher. It’s a drop. But he’s remains much more efficient than average in the playoffs.

Next, scoring. Jokic’s career points per 100 possessions is 34. His playoffs number is 36. His scoring goes up in the playoffs.

Assists. Assists/100 possessions drops from 11.5 to 10. This to me is the most notable difference. The Jokic system is less effective in the playoffs because teams prefer to restrict his passing than to double him and keep him from scoring.

Overall, he remains an elite offensive player in the playoffs. 27/12/8 on 52/38/83. Whether that’s GOAT elite in the playoffs can only really be answered by putting his numbers against his competitors. Otherwise the discussion is basically just vibes.
