it’s extremely rare, but that is 100% what happened in the heat-celtics series. the heat shooting in that series is like an outlier of outliers. combined with the celtics going ice cold shooting. none of the shooting percentages make any damn sense. It gets worse when you dig into the advanced shooting stuff too. Things like the celtics shooting 26% on wide open threes and the heat shooting 50% on contested threes.

I live in CO and had tickets for game 5 of the nuggets-heat finals, before the series start, in my cart, credit card entered, and decided not to do it. I wish I had. The heat had no chance against them. The nuggets probably would have won against the celtics too, but that would have been a very close series…and cost me a lot of money.
