There are 4 guys in one small space on the inbound. Immediate handoff to Josh Hart with nowhere to go. Kat with a screen to nowhere. Brunson over driving. 🤢
Edit: Watched this like 500x. If an iso was the goal then they woulda been better off just passing it to Brunson in the backcourt on the original action (he was open for that pass). Then run a KAT pnr from there. I hate it.
Out of their last two timeouts on offensive in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter, the Knicks turned it over twice and didn’t get a shot off. Just horrendous, abysmal coaching.
To be fair the “KAT trip the defender you’re screening to free up Brunson” play should work in theory.
