My team (Jays) sounds like it might be the Padres of the AL East. Aside from last year and a few other blips, they haven’t sustained enough significant consistent success like their powerhouse days of the 80s and early 90s to forge any reciprocated seething rivalries.
I think older Orioles fans hate us with a passion because of the 93 all-star game. Otherwise the division rivalries feel lukewarm in comparison to the heated ones. We used to have a good Great Lakes rivalry with the Tigers before they moved to the Central :/
