Honestly nothing better than seeing a young guy struggle early in his career and get written off to just take the next step. And doing in the playoffs with all eyes on you is just extra amazing. He would be feeling SO good right now.
I always insisted that i believe in him a lot more than sharpe because his flaws are much more correctable, but I’d be lying if i said i expected him to drop a 30 bomb on the spurs to carry us in a bad deni game. Insane

Underrated comment. The influence of Lillard on this team, even being injured, is undeniable. He’s been working with the Blazer youth on toughening up and shot selection.
It’s crazy how much our guard development slowed when Lillard left and then seems to have popped off again now that he’s back. I credited Stotts with it in the past, but I think I underrated Lillard’s contribution.

Despite his rough start Scoot still has a lot of potential. Especially with vets like Jrue and Dame to learn from he can turn into a very good player.
He just turned 22 in February as well. It is weird to think he could have just wrapped his last NCAA season. He is about the same age now as Lillard was when he played his first game as a rookie.
It’s great to see him have such a strong game after he had injuries this year
