In their 14-point loss to the 76ers without Joel Embiid, the Boston Celtics missed 33 3s.
EDIT: 37 3s! To put that into perspective, that is tied for 6th most missed 3s in a playoff game ever.
The main culprits for tonight’s 3-point shooting catastrophe were Tatum (2⁄8), Hauser (also 2⁄8 and White who shot a starter-worst 2⁄10; the bench wasn’t much better as Pritchard was 0/4 from 3.

It didn’t help that Brown had back-to-back turnovers in the 4th that fueled Nicholas Nursery’s 76ers putting the game out of reach. With tonight’s loss, the Celtics lose home court advantage to a Sixers team that lost its best player to appendicitis.
Classic Tatum/Brown era Celtics game.
