I don’t think he was fully out, it’s just normal to rest his face immediatly after a hit. I’m also not sure if that was him actually dazed when getting up or just his face hurt a lot while he was trying to, since he was able to run back on his own.
Hopefully this is a case of his face/mouth hurting a bit for a couple days instead of a serious concussion. With a hit like that he could very easily have hurt bone as well.

You can, sometimes a person can have a late reaction to a hit and literally go out seconds after taking a hit and looking just fine.
I just think the way he moved when he failed to get up looked more like his face hurting a lot which kept him from getting up than him being dazed and losing balance. He was also capable and allowed to run back on his own to the lockeroom so that’s good too
