Cooper Flaggs little run was 16 outta 18 losses stat padding in meaningless games.
VJ got those shots for 4 games and dropped 38 35 28 with insane efficiency and cooked OKC by himself in must win games with Cam Payne and Marjon Bumchamp as his next options.
He can get stats but stats don’t tell his impact. We are literally awful without him.

VJ playing with a worse roster when he was cooking with Maxey out. And pG and Embiid were never there all season anyway.
VJ is awesome man, but coop is just better.
Way more difficult circumstances, playing out of position and terrible spacing. More than a year younger. Coop averages only 3fga more btw and averages 5 points more. Love VJ will always root for him due to his difficult upbringing but coop is my guy.
I’d pick Kon for ROY over Cooper.

VJ might surpass Maxey as First Option in the future.
But now, he is a great 2nd option Rookie to Maxey.
Depends on how Maxey and VJ will improve in the next 3-5 years.
They need to swap tho, Maxey needs to go true SG and VJ should take over as point
there’s not a real difference with how they run their offense, they both get plenty of opportunities to initiate
And their future will come down to how quickly they recognise this.
The future is now, these two younger guys need to be the primary focus of the franchise.
