[Highlight] Giancarlo Stanton and the Yankees strike first with a solo shot!
Outside the stadium?
Handing out souvenirs on Lansdowne
Wow what a nice guy Stanton is
Stand up Stanton they call him
Everyone talks about the lack of speed, but nobody ever talks about his good guy syndrome
Probably in the river
You can hit home runs out of Fenway that would be on the warning track at other stadiums
That was an absolute moonshot. 111.5mph and 41° launch angle
Random info I looked up because I was curious: this was the 19th home run with a launch angle of at least 40° so far this season (unless another one happened today), highest being Brandon Lowe’s 47° wall scraper off of Freddy Peralta on March 26. This also happens to equal Stanton’s steepest launch angle on a HR since Statcast tracking began, with his lowest being 13°.
Dude remembered to correct for the wall.
Officially listed at 369 feet
Don’t know if I believe that, but it certainly went 369 feet up into the air
That’s a legit “we got no fuckin idea” number lol
Murakami had a home run to center the other day in a field with “403” printed right where it went out. Stat cast said it went 395…
This is like judge’s Nuke that went as far up the stands in Seattle as physically possible and statcast said it was like 425’
That’s some bs
Where the fuck did that ball land?
What makes you think it’s landed yet?
Fair point.

As a person, fuck your momma
As Joey Gallo, I have no say in this.
Planet Earth? Why are you giving your momma nicknames?
He’s not Pujols
Yea he is stronger than Pujols
Big G doing us all a solid by taking one starlink satellite down after the other
My bad, didn’t see your comment before
Jesus christ man you truly need to get a life.
Low earth orbit.
A Stantonian blastoff.
SpaceX taking notes
Someone on the Pike just got a drive through souvenir
And now, their car is totaled.
Planet Stantonia
I hate it here
Wait until Cam Schlitter pitches in a couple of days. I can only imagine the reaction at Fenway Park lol
G just loves hitting at Fenway
Home Run #456 by the way
44 to go…
He could get it by the end of the series at this rate

Joe Girardi literally said “he’s due” 10 seconds before the swing
Never even really saw a good angle of where it ended up it was so high.
I think it’s orbiting the moon now
Stanton trying to steal the Artemis crew’s thunder smh.
Artemis 3
An unstantonian blast
Ohtani, Judge and Stanton HRs all sound like gunshots. My god
Judge and Stanton home runs are even louder in person. The broadcast only dampens the sound.
That crowd reaction was incredible
Yeah a 40 degree Fenway crowd on the day after Patriots Day knows ball.
Jesus Fucking Christ
His name is Dongcarlo
Jesus over the monster.
I love this man.
Girardi is the Nostradamus of our time
I’ve watched this video three times and still trying to figure out where the ball landed.
There’s no way that went less than one thousand feet.
Stanton mashes sliders. Is there somewhere to see who leads in hrs by pitch type? Seems like he hits a ton off sliders
Statcast search
If I did the search correctly, as far as back as 2008, Giancarlo Stanton leads in home runs off of sliders with 93. Next is Machado with 78 and Eugenio Suárez with 67.
If you’re unfamiliar with Statcast search, I strongly recommend playing around with it for like ten minutes when you’ve got the time because it has answered so many random stat questions I’ve thought about. Though useful to do some qualifiers when doing a search this large because it froze my phone prior to adding them
EDIT: you have to manually sort the list by home runs because I couldn’t figure out a way to bake that into the link
Jesus
Gianballgo. That ball was destroyed
1st ballot huh?
Lotta people think only if he hits 500…I’m so hopeful he gets there.
HOLY
I’m begging for MLBOfficial to get more creative with their titles if they insist on posting every single highlight.
The collective groan from the crowd as soon as he made contact was priceless.
