A lot of people who only follow baseball during the WS were in the sub at the time.

Which explained the amount of posts saying “There should be a limit to intentional walks!” and “It’s unfair that you can be intentionally walked on repeat!” And then the continuous explanation that if you got walked every at bat, you’d be the most valuable baseball player of all time.

I was surprised how much the two seem alike. Especially when they were talking about the Blue Jays approach Roberts said “I always use the analogy ‘have different clubs’” and Schneider laughed because Popkins says “have different clubs” as well.

Popkins was with LA in 2019 so he got it from Dave or vice versa, but those are the branches in a coaching tree right there.
