PoE2’s graphics along with the fluidity of how my character moves through the world is just peak.

Controlling my character just feels very fluid and the animations look great, makes it very immersive in spite of how much endgame becomes loot and spreadsheet simulator.

Again the visuals of this game are just top notch.

I enjoy how essences work currently in the early endgame. Really useful for crafting good gear, and for balancing resists early on. Sure they aren’t the best mods ever, but i enjoy the consistency and reliability that they offer currently.

I really enjoy the ability to cast spells as I move. The stop and go nature of most ARPGs is annoying to me.

I think the in map activities like abyss and breach are very well done, exciting, and rewarding.

I think the story is sick as fuck. The thematic boss fights are very well done.

Once I can play sword and board, idk if I’ll have more than a few weeks where I’m not playing this game in between leagues

I love the game’s art style, and I also think the bosses are the best in the genre, and I hope they maintain that level

I will start: Druid (for the most part) set a new standard how Combo heavy gameplay feels right. There are def outliers but for the most part I use 4+ buttons plus flasks and WASD to play my Wyvern

The contagion litch it’s calling to me. I can’t wait to make the charecter again

The game is shaping up great and I’m happy with most everything.. I’m more concerned with some of the changes people are asking for to be honest.

Don’t make everything based on elemental damage making even physical based classes look like a mage. For example bow looks like a mage. Bow should look and feel more like actual archery. More early game variety, currently you just use the same skills over and over again in campaign start. Open up all the skills at the start but balance it for non linear build progression

The satisfaction feeling is best class in the entire genre tbh. I really can’t compare much to that first bear playthrough. Jesus the furious slam blowing up entire screens needs to be studied. Masterclass in dopamine

Im a new player just going through campaign and I’m having a ton of fun! No idea what I’m doing but I’m doing well enough

Tbf guys, POE2 is their first installment I truly played and feel like a lot of complaints come from seasoned players from POE1. I def might be wrong tho. But POE2 quickly rose to being my favorite fame of all time. Whatever they improve on will just be a plus for me lol im in love with the game as it is rn 😂

I absolutely love how good the movement feels. Constantly weaving in and out of sprint, dodge rolls, and engaging packs. Movement and combat in general feel excellent and quite frankly makes every other ARPg feel arguably worse by comparison

The campaign is also pretty enjoyable (saying this as someone that has consistently played 6+ characters/league) even after 30+ runs, I still find it enjoyable… even after I’ve learned how to fly through it efficiently

Loving POE2 tbh, builds feel totally different each time, and the whole gear + crafting + trading loop just keeps you hooked.

I just want news about how to balance DMG for spell casters… The exponential increase in DMG via spell level is kinda nuts. Why bother with spell DMG increase. I rather trade everything for spell level then and only care about extra damage as element caster items or %spell DMG increase from my passive tree. It’s because of this that makes blood mages so overturned right now. This is so horrific for item variety and build variety.

I love how the combat feels with controller.

I Like remnants and infusions, even their passive tree Nodes. They might not be that strong but to me they are fun

Like many here I love the satisfaction caused by the movement animation fluidity and quality.

The build architypes that call to me also absolutely fucking slap at pumping dopamine, my lord this game scratches an itch that ARPGs create like no other.

I also love the bosses, the environment detailing, and support variety.

Personally, I want even more build variety and supports in the game, more skills, also making the skills accessible from earlier on would be nice too.

I love the way they’ve started giving the player character dialogue when talking with NPC’s, instead of it just being a lot of lore dump monologue. Act 4 felt so much more like I was playing through the campaign of a game because of it.

Hoping they give acts 1-3 the same treatment soon!

I’ve been playing for like two days and this game is pretty rad. Indont know what people don’t like. So uhhh i got nothing

The actual look of the ascendencies.

I absolutely love how the nodes are laid out in each of the different ascendencies.

My favorite one being Bloodmage. The fact that it looks like a heart looks really cool.

I unironically love maces and warriors whole thematic & gameplay feel. Elite visual and sound design. I am very excited to see how they incorporate Swords, Axes and Flails into the game.

I enjoyed building a snake temple. And seeing so many orbs of all kinds meant I could actually craft because it wasn’t rare

Bro I have been through the valley of the shadow of darkness after I got sick of my juiced temple a few months back. D4, D2, last epoch, etc. thank god for phericia and mirage were there to hold me over.

POE2 just has so much gd juice. I’ve dumped thousands into MTX because I need this shit to thrive!

I hope the game returns to being more like Act 1 to 4 (depends on the build), IDK the best part of the game is when it’s not PoE1 but slow. With act 1 & 2 being the best combat wise

When combat is more deliberate and slower pace it seems to be in it’s element, once it becomes million dps simulator it’s just PoE 1 without the mobility.

I hope they find a way to bridge meaningful combat into the later game, also I think another thing that is liked about act game play is it feels more splitscreen/co-op leaning when you get to end game this goes away. So I’m just excited with new act stuff.

Gradual improvement to crafting systems.

Runecrafting. Keep runes but utilize them as more modifiers for a slam that will then expend the runes socketed and open the way on gear for other worries to slot new runes that makes the need for removal options less necessary, while also fixing a portion of crafting deemed to lack ways for player involvement of odds manipulation.

I’ll say it… I liked temple. It was the most time I e ever spent in PoE2. Not sure how they would ever implement a system that popped out so much currency, but I loved the mechanic

I hope they keep druid the way it is. leveling as wolf and bear is peak arpg fun and they both have absolutely fantastic endgame builds for maps and pinnacles. The skills look and feel soooo good

Its not even the graphics but the one thing that we really lost in poe2 is the challenge. The absurdly hard bosses where so much fun on ea release. The washed down version are not challenging anymore sadly.

Something akin to divination cards would be great for me personally. It would open up a lot of things to hunt/collect and help glue the mechanics together whilst keeping the economy in check.

I love active Block and Parry a lot, even though especially Parry needs some more tools and tree improvements (also 4th support gem pls).

I really hope they don’t abandon it.

Fun. I don’t want then to nerf the fun.

I miss my homos, they needed a nerf for sure, but there were so many ways to do that without just ripping em out.

Personally, I think Catalyzing Omens should do about double what they currently do (roughly 5x weighting for applicable mods per 20 quality consumed) and Homogenizing omens should do what catalyzing do at 20 quality with no consumption of quality.

Game looks good, that’s about it.

I want to see less of these announcements.  Just drop the updates.  Three days of “soon” in this day and age is annoying and manipulative.
