JT 2. JB 3. White 4. Jrue 5. KP Important 2024

I know many might not like me saying Dwhite wasn’t a top 5 important player that season and he really wasn’t. We didn’t have a lot of big man depth so we really needed Al and KP to step up. I even remember Kornet played I think only 1 finals game cuz he got hurt, X barely played and Queta wasn’t even that good.

Same thing here, James Posey was our second most important piece. He was the only one with a championship (granted we got Sam Cassell late in the season) and was our sixth man. Bro got sooo many key defensive stops for us and knocked down huge shots as well. He can play with any lineup. We don’t win a championship without him. The thing with Leon Powe was he had to play a big role when kg went down during the all star break and he showed up. He also literally won us a finals game. We needed him badly cuz big baby was still a rookie and we didn’t get PJ Brown until near the end of the season.

I’m not going down the list of every championship but you get my point.

Havlichek would be a top 5 player on some of the 60’s teams as well. The Bill era is so long that you can’t do one top 5 for the whole thing. Even the Bird Celtics the top 5 is not going to be the same for all 3.
