And Nuggets always rely on their 2 man game between Jokic and Murray in the clutch. Going to be interesting to see how they adjust if Gobert/McDaniels keep it up.

Some of the best defense I’ve ever seen against the Joker/Murray two man game. Denver could really use the MPJ release valve spacing in this series.

Jokic has been a huge flopper for over a year now. People will say it was the OKC series but he was arguably worse in the Clippers series before that

I would argue that as good as he is man-to-man on defense, his off-ball movement and positioning on both ends of the floor is why he gets the big bucks.

He’s just so good at manipulating the positioning and movement of the other 9 guys on the court. He’s a natural tactician.

Rudy has played multiple series against him, so he’s obviously learned his tricks and moves and how to counter them.

With their friendship, I think he 100% had that mindset coming into the game.
