Instead of playing out the rest of the NBA playoffs, can we just have the Timberwolves and Nuggets play a 13-game series? Asking as a Laker fan
Every game is pure terror, but honestly so was every Timberwolves game pre 2022 so I’ll take it

Pls keep tony brothers away from all playoff games. He doesn’t lean one way he’s awful and inconsistent as hell to everyone in every game. All my homies hate tony brother fucker
Soft T on Jonas, soft foul on Jaden, soft O foul by Nuggets - all within 15 seconds. Okay, teams know refs call everything, they adjusted. 2nd half - Jamal gets fouled on 3, on the other end Gobert gets fouled by Jokic - nothing. Wtf. Refs were awful, but I don’t think they favored any team. They were just bad.
It has been this way for so long now in the NBA I think anyone who is an apologist for refs doesn’t realize this is the only sport where refs make the game about themselves. It’s a total ego trip and ruins games.
Add on top of that the league’s agenda for certain players and the shady history of gambling, it’s tough to take games seriously

I obviously remember the awful calls late (the review in particular), but you’re not wrong, the guy was terrible towards the Nuggets as well. The way they called EVERYTHING for like 3 minutes in the first half and then allowed football for most of the rest was baffling

The Wolves/Nuggets is like Vikings/Saints. Games go to the wire all the damn time and gives both fanbases heart attacks.

It really is the best rivalry in the NBA right now. Wolves players look so different when they play the Nuggets. Jokic has had some of the best games of his career against the Wolves. It’s really fun to watch.

Just insane levels of production out of the most minor adjustments for these two teams.
I honestly think either of these teams are absolutely walking the spurs in round 2 barring major injuries

This is why silver calls this a highlight league. Fans will forgive this “product” when refs are inconsistent and players are constantly complaining and flopping in a PLAYOFF game.
