It’s one of the best rivalries in the league right now, I don’t think it’s even sniffing being an all time rivalry.

I think Timberwolves and Nuggets have played each other more in the last few years than any other two teams have. Also you have all the MVP spice, Ant is a media magnet and Rudy creates a divide between those that know ball and those that don’t. Then you have series going deep and the heatpack scandal.

When Timberwolves go East, this would be an all Finals clash

Both are elite teams. I remember Anthony Edwards doing the DX chop. That was good.

It’s for sure the biggest rivalry in the western conference right now. Idk about it being an “all-time great” rivalry like Celtics vs Lakers or Bulls vs Pistons.

It’s an old school Western Conference playoff rivalry. Early 00’s shit.

One of the most fun, definitely a major one in the West as of late. Depending on how these Playoffs play out, Nuggets Thunder (if Nuggets win two rounds in a row and try for revenge after losing the WCSF last year) or Thunder Spurs as well could also take over.

Wolves Nuggets have played more games against eachother than any other pair of teams in the last 4 years at 30 games as of tonight, and in that time the record is 15-15! It’s an insane rivalry

What “great series” are you talking about? This one? We’re two games in. 2023 was a 4-1 romp. 2024 is the only one that qualifies as great.

Northwest division has been cinema since 2023, nuggets, wolves, and OKC all don’t like each other and have played some banger games throughout the past couple years.

Its a blast, i am a wolves fan, this one took years off my life. There is a lot of respect but enough dislike by now. Found myself yelling “FUCK YOU JOKIC!” After he flopped and then Rudy dunked oh him, and it felt almost wrong to yell at Joker like that…

It goes way back. first year with jimmy, 2017, it came down to game 82 of the season to make the playoffs and the Wolves got in between the two.
