I’ll want to prepare to watch the nba finals while in Italy if the Celtics make it, its on abc, most of these reddit forumns say use a good vpn but then I see things like YouTube tv, xfinity stream, Hulu and Fubo will detect a vpn and not let me, I need a sure fire way to watch the nba finals, I cant watch at a pub bc they’ll be closed since the game will be on at 2:30am

i’m not in italy but i am international, when you watch outside of the usa nba league pass usually has 0 blackout restrictions, i can watch any nba game from game 1 of the regular season to game 7 of the finals even if its a “prime exclusive” or whatever tf it is

They don’t blackout games if you live outside of US and Canada as far as I know, but you will need to purchase the international version of league pass which will require an Italy billing address and payment method. If you don’t have one, maybe somebody there can help you out.

Each country will be different. When you go to purchase it will give you the options specific to your region. In my case (Taiwan), I needed a debit or credit card from a local bank and a Taiwan phone number. Hopefully it’s not that difficult for you, I imagine EU would have more options.

Yes, international league pass is different. Just make sure you’re making an account in Italy. They also offer a special package for just the playoffs/finals alone

If you are in the US, subscribe to the regular NBA league pass. You can sign up for premium as well which will let you download games to your phone. Came in clutch when I was on the plane. I watched all the playoff games while I was in Japan and Thailand last year.

Yes and no. It is a real NBA league pass account so you get all of the benefits of the account. It appears to be maybe hacked accounts as you are given log in details.

Had to watch the playoffs last year in Rio. If you’re staying at a nice enough hotel they’ll figure it out for you (i.e. figure out how to watch it or find a place that will be open). My hotel found me a bar and I watched as we were handily eliminated on the streets of Rio. VPNs etc. are super unreliable for stuff like this because the streamers have gotten very sophisticated at rejecting viewers who are on VPNs. Good luck!

Brazil is one hour ahead of ET time..Italy is an entirely different story. They said in their post the games go on at 2:30am and nothing will be open
