Created new PoE2 Community Tool, Would love to gather some feedback from you guys!
Hey. I’m Deengie, big PoE2 fan. I wanted to build something I’d actually use myself because browsing PoE2 uniques right now is kind of a pain.
https://exileindex.com/uniques/
Built it for new and veteran players. Would love honest feedback on whether it is useful.
For veterans
Main thing is fast trade search. Every unique card has a “Search on Trade” button that opens the official trade site with filters already applied from the item you’re viewing. Currently when you search for an item on poe2trade, no filters are pre-set. That makes sense for rares, but uniques already have fixed mods, so that’s where I come in. Click a slider to narrow a damage range, set min/max on a specific roll, toggle Vaal corruption to include corrupted variants, hit Search. It’s the flow I wanted and couldn’t find anywhere else.
Under advanced filters I picked the values that actually matter for each item. For example pure evasion items don’t show armour filters, weapons have crit while armours don’t, and so on. Official poe2trade has a ton more stats but most of them you never end up filling in.
Not trying to replace poe.ninja or the wiki. They’re both great, I use them too. This tool actually links out to both. poe.ninja for builds, wiki for deeper lore and mechanics. The gap I’m filling is the in-between: a fast way to search and filter specific unique rolls without 30 clicks.
For new players
Wiki mod explanations are spread across multiple pages and it’s a lot to piece together. Not rewriting the wiki (there are wiki links sprinkled where I thought they actually help). What I’m adding is quality-of-life stuff that helps you understand an item at a glance:
Status
Early preview. Full editorial on Bow and One Hand Mace classes so far (~25⁄431 uniques). Rest show a “WIP” placeholder where editorial will land. Search, filters, and trade links already work on all 431. Editorial rolls out class by class, week by week.
Down the line once all editorial lands, you’ll also be able to filter the whole list by our meta tags. Show me all poison uniques, all crit weapons, all ES pieces. These tags are curated, not pulled from game data. Some uniques don’t technically have a poison mod but they’re solid picks in poison builds, so they still get the tag. That’s what comes next once content is in.
What I’d love from you
