The Chicago Bulls have started the search process for their new head of basketball operations, receiving permission to interview Minnesota’s Matt Lloyd, Detroit’s Dennis Lindsey, Atlanta’s Bryson Graham, Cleveland’s Mike Gansey and San Antonio’s Dave Telep, per ESPN sources. The Bulls are also expected to speak with the co-head of CAA’s basketball division, Austin Brown, regarding the vacancy, sources said.

Billy’s likely on his way out because he doesn’t want be part of a rebuild, but his rosters for the past 5 seasons have either been very injured or lacking a true #1. Say what you will about his lack of success with the Bulls but the guy’s a hall of fame coach who players love & respect, that gets you pretty far in professional sports.
