Scoot Henderson despite the loss: 18/3/3 on 7⁄11 FG
https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/401869194
18 points
3 rebounds
3 assists
1 steal, 7⁄11 FG, 2⁄4 3PT, 2⁄2 FT
He only had 18 but it felt like a lot more

And you guys have no future
Go hate somewhere else
Butthurt wizards fan lmao
Pray wizards get the 6th pick
that’s not even possible but i would believe it
atleast people care even when we lose
The only time your franchise gets attention is when you post dumb shit like this.
That’s not true! They got attention when they gave up the second highest scoring game in nba history
Who cares about a wizards fan opinion? You guys have like 55 wins in 3 seasons
What do the fans have to do with their team not winning?
Wizards fan talking about losses lmao
Wizards fan just wants to keep the losing club exclusive to themselves
Ah yes lets all sit down and listen to the wise words & wisdom from a fucking Wizards fan lmfao
His jump shooting was great this game
And a lot of that was with Steph on him, caught Castle off guard honestly
Theres one Steph in the league and he is not on the Spurs
Only one Steph in the playoffs
There are two Stephs in the league, one of them is a good basketball player, the other is the IDFs strongest soldier
Only one still in the playoffs though lol
Warrior and Curry fans are insufferable.
With the awful officiating against Castle all game long, I hope the refs stop trying to make the game closer than it should be in the next one
that is not steph buddy
Only guy other than Deni that showed up
Our Vets should be embarrassed. Jrue and Grant were ungodly bad
Jrue was pretty good everywhere except shooting. Had a strong impact I thought and was clearly beat up. Grant is just bad (same with Sharpe)
Jrue has been bad offensively since he first got traded to the bucks. He shoots like 37% in the playoffs
Except the 2024 Celtics run. He was great offensively since he was their fourth option and benefited from being gifted excellent looks from 3.
Yeah, pretty much. i think he still shot like 43% in the finals, but overall, 46% that run
It’s time to let Sharpe go. It’s year 4 and he’s still just potential rather than actual positive production.
Mathurin has shown more imo and Indiana even traded him
He just signed an extension this season 🤮
Sharpe reminds me of Jalen Green’s situ come the end of his time with the Rockets. Offense-first guard who hasnt really improved since coming into the league. His 3pt form looks too good to be that bad from three all the time.
It’s weird to be watching the playoffs without the Bucks for the first time in a decade. But watching the East’s 1 seed struggle against the 8 seed and watching Jrue provide strong defense while shooting under 30% from the field felt like I was able to recreate the experience in the aggregate.
Jrue has never been consistent offensively in the playoffs. He’ll come up big in key moments of a series but the team needs to be good enough to even get in those situations.
It upset me so much when Jrue wound up in Boston after the Bucks traded him because that was a perfect spot for him. Being the 4th/5th option on offense that allows him to focus almost all his energy on being a defensive demon brings out the best version of Jrue in the playoffs.
You must be new to the jrue holiday playoff experience on offense.
I’ve hated the trade from the get go
I miss Simons
Jrue’s role seems too big on offense, which is probably an indictment on the rest of the team (outside Deni of course)
Grant’s one dunk at the end of the 3rd was sick though
For some reason, Jrue’s game consistently drops off in the playoffs
Jrue was too distracted with the piece of metal wire he was chewing… How is that even allowed..
Is anyone surprised. Jrue was never supposed to be a primary shot creator and he’s older now. He dished out 11 assists with great defense which I think is what you can ask of him. Your offense is 75% Deni charging into the paint except you can’t really do that against Wemby. What you really need is Vit Krejci to come back
Scoot looks like a year away. Playing well after all that missed action.
Nice stat line. Unfortunately, he absolutely killed Portland in the 3rd quarter with braindead turnovers.
eh he only had two during that stretch and was like the sole reason we went in that run to make it close at the start of the third
Yeah that sequence of 4 turnovers in a row by him and a few others just absolutely killed their momentum
Forgivable since he was the only other guy besides Deni putting the ball in the hole
Been the case for a while and probably why he has never got a long leash here. Really good flashes but timely turnovers and fouls been a issue since day 1
And he was also getting hunted by Castle over and over during that run.
I’m glad scoot is turning out to be a good/great player.
He’s a really good kid who keeps his spirit up and always, always pumps up the other guys. Despite us jerking around his development constantly. I’m hoping for the best for him.
Scoot was cooking, I’m praying he keeps this up next season and breaks out, he’s so nice with it
The real #1 pick!!!
Scoot haters in shambles
He was always the right pick over Miller. We’re dying to have his skillset on the roster rn. Can’t wait until he gets on a team that gives him the full green light (and he stays healthy)
No man, MJ was right with that pick
Zero ball knowledge. Y’all used to say he was day 1 ready and a jump out of the gym athlete. He was neither. He isn’t even the best pg from the draft let alone a top 5 pick in a redraft.
Scoot has been better than Miller since as early as last season.
Not even close. Scoot can barely even start for his own team. Miller has been averaging 20 ppg on 45% FG 40% 3PT 90% since getting accustomed to his shoulder injury and brace.
Even injured Brandon Miller is clearly the better player. I can’t fathom why there’s so many Miller haters in our fanbase.
Idk where you got those splits but he actually shot 43.5⁄38.3⁄89.2 this year
But anyways I hate how all basketball discussion is just efficiency efficiency efficiency. Miller is fine player but his weaknesses were on full display this season and he will haunt us by being wildly overpaid for the rest of his time with the club. Scoot is coming into his own and hopefully can soon play somewhere better than the disgraceful organization that is Portland
Do you not get what accustomed to is? Did you even watch us this year? I used his stats since new year as he was extremely bothered by the shoulder brace in December.
No point discussing more if you don’t even watch your own team.
Scoot was given plenty of opportunities by Portland. He was just so bad he lost the keys to the franchise.
You can’t just make up timeframes like that lol. But since we are talking about improvement after injuries, Scoot is currently excelling in the actual playoffs after a full hamstring tear this year.
Honestly a good game from him, he just needed to slow down with the dumb turnovers
He was great. Some bad turnovers but it was a really solid showing from Scoot.
He’s good! I hope he absorbs everything Dame and Jrue can give him.
He was looking pretty dangerous out there.
His mini wembanyama rivaley is still entertaining.a
I know he’s not really lived up to expectations yet, but tonight he definitely looked like he eventually could.
Players develop at different rates and at different times. He might just be more of a slow burn
Too many turnovers and he needed to come alive in the first.
Good game tho
He turned into Shai making every mid range shot and got me a little nervous ngl
He cleaned up the turnovers in the end but his shooting really surprised me. Excited to see how he performs the rest of his first playoff series
He’s a good player. Hate he has to get compared to an extraterrestrial
There’s always being compared to #2 pick Brandon Miller!
Honestly happy he’s turning it around. Dude came in with legit pressure on his shoulders and had to deal with a bunch of talking about his level
Played really good on offense but his defense was awful.
Costly turnovers, but he looked like a walking bucket with an elite three-level scoring package. Easily the most impressive playoff debut for a young handler this year.
I watched the game and unfortunately the stats are a lot more flattering than the game itself. He had possessions where he would make bone-headed or plainly dumb plays and caused a lot of TOs. Seriously can’t see him contributing positively in the series when for me he looked plainly like a minus during his stay on the court. The main positive tho is that he did look like the only blazer besides Avdija who had a willingness to take shots - but i don’t believe the splits will be the same for the rest of the series and with that his only positive on the floor will be moot.
Too many ill advise turnover
He hasn’t lived up to expectations, and I don’t think he ever will, but he’ll have a solid career as a starting point guard.
