Nothing but flop? I’ll give you this, he often armbars his defender into oblivion to make space for his jumper. But those jumpers are certainly not flopping. Have you seen him push the pace in transition and force the defense to collapse around him, creating open looks for his teammates? Have you seen him dribble through traffic at very awkward angles to find a layup? He creates good offense so consistently.
He has the best talent in the league around him, a lineup of “best defender on the team” type defenders. But they cannot be relied upon to consistently make shots, or else OKC would run out of money to pay them. They’re already going to have to gut their depth the moment they pay Chet and Jdub and Hart next season.

His defense gets underrated because for 1 he plays for us and we have a lot of great defenders but mostly because Wemby is a literal alien
Chet is underrated as a whole because of Wemby. You have two guys who do the same exact things, except one of those guys is just bigger and better at everything. If you think about Chet outside of his comparison to Wemby, he is a phenomenal player and every single team in the NBA would be trying to get him if he was available.
