Funny thing is he said this in 2018, we’ve beaten them twice in the postseason since and (based on today’s ass whooping) on our way to a 3rd time
His injury record is horrendous, but he basically took a leave of absence to avoid the predictable ass whooping

Yeah of all the things embiid is he’s not really a quitter. Hes played through some pretty tough injuries despite his lack of playoff succsss
My abs limited my range of motion for like 3 weeks after I had mine and that was just living my life, not trying to play sports at a playoff level. Not gonna fault the professional athlete there. He’s injury prone but on top of that he just has insane bad luck.
Yeah appendicitis is no joke. I remember not being allowed to lift weights for likes whole month and a half after my surgery
I don’t know what that recovery is specifically like, but I lived through the full Wemby experience with clots in both shoulders. For three months after each TOS procedure, carrying a gallon of milk across the room felt like I had a 300lb yoke on my back because the CNS was trying to figure out how to fire everything off correctly after a section of core (scalene) muscle was removed. Even after that, despite still having plenty of muscle I had to start as if I was a 98lb weakling and work my way back up so the body could learn again.
Finally got off Eliquis for good last year, only taking a baby aspirin daily now. Now back to full speed ahead, last week was up to 355 squat and 375 deficit deadlift. It was a long road to get back to even that point.
Some of the worst luck I’ve ever heard of. How the hell did it happen NOW of all times. Could’ve at least happened while he was rehabbing another injury. No overlap. Heals up, boom, new problem. Just cursed.
Easy to fake.
Spouse had emergency appendicitis and still had it done arthroscopically. Two or three small incisions, not even visible today. A quarterback abdomen pad should be good. IANAD or IANASP.

Yup I’m not expecting too much from the B’s but an upset is possible! This has been one of the most inconsistent hockey teams I’ve watched, we’ve beaten the Sabres, Habs, and other top tier teams then lose to the Leafs.
At the end of the day at least the Sabres are a fun team. I’d be more stressed if we risked losing to the Lightning or Canes.
Bruins just need to take one of the two away games here and then they can just go two and one at home and it’s up to a game seven which is anyone’s
I don’t expect them to win any away games. They’re considerably better at home because having last change makes up for the gap in talent a bit.

Great statement game, Tatum with a versatile efficient 25/11/7 game with excellent defense as well. Jaylen had a great 3rd quarter en route to a 26 point game and the defense was exceptional. Glad we won by 32 keep this momentum rolling for game 2 as well
