Rockets need a coach with offensive ideas. Udoka is mainly motivation and vibes. I know they’re missing VVD & KD. But I feel like JJ has actual schemes and actions he can go to in a crunch, Udoka is just like… do your thing.

Rockets are just horrible offensively, even without a PG they should be better than what we are seeing given the talent that they have. Ime seems really incompetent

LeBron controls the entire offense and pace of the game. That’s why he’s so scary in the playoffs. That doesn’t change with age. That’s how he dominates without scoring much.

Rockets don’t have anyone who can counter playoff LeBron. Everyone else on the lakers need to miss all the open shots and go cold if rockets want to win this series.

But from a pure basketball perspective. The rockets dumb as rocks. They attacked one weakness and left the other. (offensive glass)

They are going to blitz Reed and prevent the initial action, that literally plays into how to beat the lakers.

You bring Ayton/Hayes up to decoy a screen by running Sengun at Reed. Check whoever is being guarded by Laravia/Kennard/Rui.

Either way, you put Lebron/Smart + Center away from the basket and force the Lakers to defend the rim with Kennard/Laravia/Rui.

And then you just kick the ball before they trap Reed and you just….get to the rim. Force Rui/Kennard/Laravia/Vando to stay low and have zero rim protection.

G1, Rockets literally were driving past Laravia/Kennard/Rui, but Rockets decided to take terrible shots.

This lakers defense is scarily bad they just hope and pray for the other team to miss wide open shots. But here’s to hoping the Rockets continue to self destruct
