[Highlight] LeBron James posts up Amen Thompson, backs him a little bit, and then hits the turnaround fadeaway jumper over him (with replays). LeBron was impressed with himself.
LeBronto
Every raptors fan got ptsd. He was treating that series like a practice.
JV going through it on the bench in the background was hilarious
FVV is seeing it for the 2nd time in a row against his team now lol. Went to the West and Lebron still terrorizing his dreams
The box score won’t do justice what bullshit Lebron was doing in game 2 that series
2 points isn’t 2 points
Yeah he was legit fucking around like you do when owning your little brother in the driveway. It was the most demoralizing experience I’ve ever had as a fan. We really thought we might finally have a chance to beat the Cavs that year.
The whole world thought you’d win against them. They had nothing on you in the reg season, but it turned out that Lebron is Lebron and Demar went choke mode.
Him spinning the ball and readjusting his hands before splashing a three with Ibaka in front of him the whole time was insane levels of disregard
That’s the first thing that pops into my head whenever I think of LeBronto, it just completely epitomized the whole experience.

Amen/Sengun led halfcourt offense is so bad that Lakers haven’t really needed volume shooting LeBron lol
Bro what even is a Sengun lead offense. Dude just does handoffs and thats it
I thought he was baby Jokic? /s
I still cannot believe they’re the same height. Alperen looks like a SF on court compared to how Jokic looks.
Jokic has 50+ lbs on him though. Sengun listed at 243, Jokic at 284 but is for sure a bit heavier than that. Says he likes to play around 295.
That’s crazy because when I watched Jokic today he looked super slim, definitely slimmer than how Alpi looks on TV. Maybe something to do with the white vs red jerseys lol.
Jokic has gotten into great shape this last month, all the Denver insiders have been saying it. He was playing easily over 300 for much of the season, has really gotten into shape for the playoffs.
Yea he definitely looked super fit for his standards and moved much better.
I think it’s the neck difference. Sengun has a long one compared to Jokic, there’s no way their shoulders line up
He’s Sabonis with better PR
I saw KD out, then checked betting odds and Houston were still favoured to win, crazy work
LeBron can dominate the game without scoring so easily. He made Ayton and Luke Kennard look like all stars
Yeah the Rockets’ offense just completely stalls when they can’t get out in transition. Makes it easy for the Lakers to just control the pace.
Shoutout to all the 90s lovers who say there’s no hand checking in NBA anymore.
This always questions me. The rule says no HC but yet you can see players HC each other all the time. Often time even more than 90s games
Yeah exactly, it happens all the time. This brother was almost caressing and massaging LeBron and the referees were fine with it lol
I personally noticed the shift around the 2022 season. Hand checking is essentially back and has been consistently here for years now.
It never left. The guys never stop touching each other. Guys like Harden turned into the scoring leader going into his shooting motion through the handcheck and that was 2013-2020
Hand checking is a skill today.
You can get away with it if you can be quick enough to shift your hand off the hip or torso before it’s called. You can kind of hand check in spurts it’s all about working the refs.
That whole dialogue around hand checking in the modern game vs the 90s is so twisted and dated. In the modern NBA you can physically contact an offensive player as much as you want until you affect their SQBR (speed, quickness, balance, rhythm). This was a correct non-call, but hand checking is still there.
Watch any Steph games, and you’ll see otherwise lol
But Curry would be a bum if he played with 90s rules and hand checking!! /s
Amen is supposed to be one of the most athletic players in the league and a really good defender. And then you have 41 yr old LeBron doing whatever he wants. GOAT!
Bron is built like a brick shithouse, need a Steve Adams sized man or something to stop him.
It’s wild how LeBron’s game has evolved - that old man strength and footwork is just as effective as his athletic prime.
I mean, Amen defended that pretty damn well; this is more of a testament to how good LeBron is than an indictment of Amen’s defense.
There’s people out there who will watch this then say with a straight face that he’s got no skill
Who the hell could say that after watching literally any basketball in the last 2 decades. He has nothing left to prove.
You underestimate Kobe fans lol
Some folks just see the athleticism and miss all the footwork and touch. That fadeaway is pure craft.
That’s goat James right there
jordan was muttering to himself watching this
Man’s still got that vintage move in his bag after all these years.
He’s so good (x4)
If there is one I’ve learnt watching lebron play is that if he is making his fadeaway jumpers then you are cooked
That MIA/Boston game 6 fadeaway off the backboard is still one of my favorite shots
I know it’s just anecdotal but it really does feel like most of his craziest playoff games - and there’s a fuckload of them - have some sort of wild fadeaway jumper early on in the game and he just goes fucking crazy from there. Shouldn’t be surprising I guess, cause when you’re on, you’re on and even players as experienced and elite as LeBron benefit massively from confidence boosts like that.
What a freak.
Bron hitting a turnaround over a player younger than me is absolutely nuts.
Dude’s been hitting that same shot since I was in middle school, it’s wild to think about.
It may be a gentleman’s sweep from here but I won’t take for granted getting to enjoy a playoff win after this season. The boys have been playing inspired all of 2026 and deserved this
Why do you think it’ll be a gentleman’s sweep after this? Have faith, brother
He meant we’ll gentleman sweep their asses, let me cope.
KD coming back and Bron gets exhausted in these series’ playing the main role. I hope I’m wrong, of course. This team has been so fun this year
Not even a Lakers fan but how can you be so unconfident in your own team lol. Also Smart took a lot of the ball handling duties tonight and Luka is likely back mid series
Luka will not be back until the end of the series if it goes longer than 5⁄6 maybe, that’s being generous. Lebron was locked in almost the entire game he can’t do that too often anymore he’s gonna get gassed we’ve seen it in the regular season. Obviously hope I’m wrong but I understand his concern
If the Lakers are down 3-1 I think it’s almost guaranteed he returns given how spaced out the games are. Would be on the 29th, he got injured on the 2nd and was timetabled 3-6 weeks originally.
Also, sure we’ve seen Lebron in the regular season lacking effort and taking possessions off but I can’t remember seeing him ever not locked in during the playoffs. Last year he was the best defender on his team and put up 25 a game. To doubt he can play hard for 5-6 games with two backup PGs playing well that can take some of the load offensively is a bit naive imo
A non-fan schooling a fan. Love to see it!
well for me is I am just not expecting too much, if we get more wins, I will be happier, but I am already happy enough Lakers didn’t get sweep.
I do hope they can win one or two more at least take to 7. I am not hoping Luka can come back and able to be 100% already. Just got temper the expectation and wont’ be disappointed.
I’ve had my hopes up before…
Honestly I kind of appreciate someone being measured rather than confident to the point of near-delusional proportions in the playoffs for once lol. I probably have more confidence in the Lakers than OP does, but still, I found it refreshing.
fuck that noise we winning this shit their offense is fucking putrid and a KD double makes their whole team explode
Rockets needed to be up 3-0 for a gentleman’s sweep. That’s a gentleman’s sweep, up 3-0, lose game 4, win game 5.

How is a human this good at basketball for this long, its ridiculous.
Clean living
LeBron looks huge next to him. Moved him like nothing.
Reminds me of the rainbow fadeaways he kept hitting on Toronto
Weirdly enough I was watching that game from 2018(?) last night against the Raptors where he silenced the crowd for 3 quarters taking exactly this shot over and over again, and it was net over and over again. Ridiculous that he is doing it at 41.
That shii made him feel young again
Imagine if Lebron stops playing NBA and finally does his duty as a Viltrumite. Thank god Savannah and the NBA stopped him.
He’s 100 years old out there doing that to kids who weren’t born yet when he got into the league.
reminds me that time kobe backed bron down and hit him with a high arc shot

GOAT
A thing of beauty
At 80 years old they are going to make a commercial with Jame’s saying he’s coming out of retirement.
2 points is not 2 points. Almost a decade later and he’s still explaining it lol
Hard for Thompson to play that better. He was solid and James’ best option was a difficult shot. Which he made because he’s that guy but the D from Thompson was proper.
LeBald James is undefeated in the playoffs
LeBuns
Reminded me of the Kobe one he hit over Bron when he knew Bron was more athletic he got that high quick release off. The King learned from the Mamba.
