If Lebron goes to a new team, I would imagine that he would be towards the top of jersey sales. Lebron to a major team like the Warriors could be the #1 seller.

This isn’t just about jersey sales, but also popularity. It brings a new type of discussion around him. As oppposed to staying with the Lakers or going back to the Cavs.

His value is the midlevel exception or whatever space the Lakers lineup after they sign their free agents. If the Lakers have 20m in space left over and the FA market dries up, LeBron is taking 20m. If its 40m, he’s taking 40m. If its 12m, he’s taking 12m.
