I remember getting crap a few years back when I said that Draymond was team USA’s 2nd most important player back in 2020.
That’s the Olympics where LeBron and Steph didn’t go and KD had to hard carry the offense. But Draymond was playing superb defense throughout and just kept making winning plays!
I think draymond is consensually seen as an elite HOF player. Boxscore watchers wont see his impact on offense with his screens and playmaking yeah, but the rest of it is pretty clear. But definetely a player that the boxscore doesnt do justice.
