I’m not reading through folks post history’s but when I see a sus comment, which let’s be honest there’s a real problem with bots and bad faith actors pushing whatever bullshit, it’s not exactly a conspiracy to say there’s highly sophisticated influence campaigns running rampant on social media, I like to take a look to see if the person posting the sus comment is acting in good faith. Is this person just an idiot or is there something else going on here? Back in the day, they’d make fresh accounts, which is immediately noticed and called out, so when account age can prove legitimacy, being able to hide your post history gives undue credibility to bad faith actors looking to influence opinions. I can understand there’s some legitimate reasons to want to hide your post history, just due to the nature of the type of conversations people can have on here, but in today’s day and age, it just adds another layer of mistrust.
I hear you, but I just block them. If it is legit sus then I dont want to read their bullshit again. If it’s sus in another way, like I think it’s a bot, then I block them. Same result. So why bother reading their post history and wasting your time?

It’s definitely supposed to be a diss. Philly fans aren’t the most popular, shall we say, across sports, and people always make fun of crowds for doing these type of chants. Otherwise there’s absolutely no reason to post this, it is not news worthy. I mean I always thought 90% of the time “We want” chants are a little stupid (I still get why fans do it), but I couldn’t care less.

he didnt leave the game till much later and looked perfectly fine till then. Again its a terrible look for embiid but i think it is overstated.
Like Knicks fans have more hatred for a play that probably didnt hurt mitch than sixers fans do for Siakam… who directly ended our 2022 season on a cheap shot elbow in the closing minutes of a playoff series he was about to lose. An all time loser move like that gets a million times less attention from our fanbase and you guys are still going gung-ho over the leg pull? Siakam also tripped Embiid two different times on fast breaks, full leg extensions. Players get heated and shit happens sometimes, i promise you we’ve gotten the worst of it out of anyone. Maybe we are just used to the worst possible things happening every year.
Ironically the Magic have played us much more physical and caused some injuries during last year’s playoffs. Most other Celtics fans I’ve seen wanted Philly

Yes, Sixers’ play-in position doesn’t reflect their true prowess imo. Embiid and PG took turns to be out during the season and the team basically was just carried by Maxey.
With them 2, feels like they can beat anybody in the East. Felt like Embiid was coasting 70% during the season too cause he doesn’t want to get injured before the post-season.

I know there’s no context in saying the sixers went 2-2 vs the Celtics and 0-4 vs detroit in the regular season. But by the eye test the sixers matched up worse with the Pistons as well. I would rather play the Celtics. Losing to the Celtics again…oh well. Losing to Tobias Harris. That would bleed me dry.
Then there’s the feeling I will get if the Sixers do pull off a miracle and finally beat Boston. It would be glorious.
