i generally do feel like if you’re going to sit courtside it’s just better to be off your phone when play is on your side of the court to be safer in exactly that situation
Next time she just needs to at least sit next to one person with actual reflexes. I’d like to think that if I was sitting court-side next to my wife/gf and a giant ball is coming for her face at medium speed I’d make an attempt at deflecting it.

Any impact that can cause the brain to collide with the interior wall of the cranial cavity can cause a concussion. The ball whipped her head back very fast. She could easily have at least a mild concussion.
