I said this in the Wolves thread about it earlier, but it’s so telling to me how the Wolves talk about SGA and Jokic.

Both are division mates (so they see them both 4 times a year). And while they haven’t played OKC quite as often in the postseason, they did play them in the play-in and in the WCF last year.

With Jokic, pretty much every comment is about how fucking good he is.

With SGA, pretty much every comment is about how you can’t touch him or you’ll get fouled.

For the Wolves, this series is really going to come down to 1) how healthy Ant is and 2) will Jules be able to put the ball in the basket.

They always play the Nuggets well on defense, even if there is no slowing down Jokic. Murray and/ or Gordon are usually the x factors - particularly Gordon this year with the lingering health issues, and now of course Braun ramping back up, too. But in this case I think the Wolves are just the bigger question mark, because of the weight Ant carries, and also how poorly Jules was shooting for such a long stretch there (although he did look better in the last few games)

He saw how the Etsy witches backfired last year and isn’t playing with that.
