Shai has recorded just 2.22 TOs per game this season, good for he second lowest all time among 30ppg+ seasons. He is only behind his 23⁄24 season and now takes 3 of the top 5 spots for this stat.
In order of least TOs per game for a 30ppg + scorer it goes like this:
23⁄24 Shai: 2.16 TOs per game, 30.1ppg
25⁄26 Shai: 2.22 TOs per game, 31.1 ppg
95⁄96 Jordan: 2.4 TOs per game, 30.4 ppg
24⁄25 Shai: 2.41 TOs per game, 32.7 ppg
90⁄91 Jordan: 2.46 TOs per game, 31.5 ppg
I think it’s pretty fair to say Shai and MJ are the have the best ball security for high volume shot takers of all time.

Shout out to George Gervin who has remarkably low TOs per game for the era he played in, multiple seasons of 2.7 TOs per game and over 30ppg.
Turnover data is extremely far and few between pre 1970 so it’s entirely possible that someone like Jerry West could make this list too but we will never know.
