Although their season ended in a loss, the Heat players are offering words of encouragement to the Hornets squad.
It was a great game and it was honestly cool to see them all acknowledging it after
Always great to see that mutual respect. You can tell both squads left everything out there on the floor.
BM going in for real hugs and herro meeting him was pretty cool. love to see that.
feels like there’s a lot of mutual respect between these 2 teams even if the game itself gets ugly. gonna be a lot different if the hornets make it through and play the pistons.
Brandon Ingram got traded to Charlotte?
brandom imller
What did bam say to lamelo
OUCH
He decided not to do a postgame exit interview(he typically does those) so I’m gonna assume he had nothing to say that wouldn’t get him fined.
Guy in the giant yellow michigan shirt was pissing me off all game.
Same dude
Gotta appreciate that from the Heat despite Lamelo hurting Bam.
Imagine being more mad about what happened than the people actually impacted lmao, y’all gotta go outside.
I mean, Bam is clearly pissed, he didn’t do anything exit interview and he always does those.

Crazy that it being intentional or not didn’t affect Spo’s opinion that Melo should have been tossed from the game, evidently you agree with that goin off your comment right? Spo said it, he obviously knows more and ain’t a redditor, you agree with him that Lamelo should’ve been tossed.
Spo Gonna defend his guys that’s his job
Oh? You got any quotes or anything from Heat players making that claim, or are you making an assumption because they shook hands after a game?
Here’s a quote for you:
“I don’t think it’s cute. I don’t think it’s funny, I think it’s a stupid play. It’s a dangerous play… He should’ve been penalized for that. Tripping guys, shenanigans. Curtis was there, it was his responsibility to see that, and if it’s not his responsibility, Zach’s got to see that. Somebody has got to see that. He should’ve been thrown out of the game for that.”- Erik Spoelstra.
Now do one for a Heat PLAYER.
Go do it yourself. You want to back up their claim? Nothing is stopping you.
Ok here’s the quote. “ “
Why write comments if you have nothing to add? Just replying for the sake of pressing keys and hitting enter?
I believed I proved my point. How’s it going for you?
can’t think of a dirty heat player minus DWade
Spo said same thing when Joker shouldered morris 😂😂😂
Lol you tried.
You are just a homer. You are insane, if you think that was an accident. That was an intentional and dirty play. He should have been ejected.
u think a dumbass like Melo has the capacity to plan dirty stratagems in fractions of seconds 😂😂
I don’t think he planned to do it. But, I think he intended to do it. How can you call what he did unintentional?
Cuz he like a squirrel
It’s not even the first time Lamelo swipes at Bam’s ankle during a game. He obviously did it on purpose, he didn’t get ejected and they benefitted from it, but call a spade a spade
How can you watch that live and say that something that happened while a guy was falling down in less than a quarter of a second is definitely dirty and intentional? Watching it live you can’t even tell what happened
What? You are kidding right? You don’t just accidently grab someone’s foot. It was an intentional act and it was dirty.
I can understand accidentally bumping a guy and knocking him to the ground, while going for the ball. But, that is not even close to what happened. LaMelo reached out and grabbed his foot.
Because he’s done it before to Bam
You legit have to be dumb as fuck to think that was an accident. But it is a part of basketball, crying about that singular moment when the Heat had chances the entire game to put it away makes you look like a loser.
They believe that Lamelo wasn’t trying to hurt him, and was trying to win possession. It’s a competitive game and there are split second decisions made.
Not saying that it was right, but that’s obviously what’s going on here…
But, that is not what happened. It doesn’t really matter if he intended to hurt him or not. He intended to trip him and did hurt him. It was a dirty and intentional act, and he should have been ejected.
I’m just saying that’s how the Heat players are taking it- that injury was not the intent. And he isn’t normally a dirty player. That’s the only way to defend Lamelo.
You shouldn’t be defending LaMelo in this incident. What he did was dirty and wrong and he should have been removed from the game
Edit: I meant to say shouldn’t be defending
We also have dozens of videos posted during and after the game, with different angles for us to interpret what happened.
In game, the play went on. The Heat players may have had a minute time-out, at most, to maybe watch the replay and assess what happened. If it were a 7-game series instead of 1 and done, there likely would’ve been bad blood in game 2
Well, Reddit isn’t exactly known as a rational bunch.
Edit: just to be clear this is not commentary on what happened with the play, just that this place is irrational lol
