They didn’t review it because no foul was called. They can’t/don’t review live ball plays. One has to follow the other.

If a guy does something like say, punch a fan mid game, it’s insane that he can’t be ejected because it wasn’t called / seen at the moment

They actually did this in a celtics vs Bucks game.. Giannis punched Theis in the dick on a screen and the refs blew the play dead killing the celtics advantage. They reviewed the play for a hostile act but didnt even give giannis a foul.. because he already had 5 fouls and he would have fouled out. It was such bullshit. Luckily im pretty sure thats the game tatum hit the step back 3 in giannis’s face to win the game.

If it had even been ruled out of bounds, they would have been able to look at it once they saw the reactions, but they can’t just decide to go look at something that happened 2 possessions ago for no reason.

You also have to take in the second clip shown is super slow motion. If you look at the other angles you can see how he could’ve made a split second reaction of just moving his hand away from the foot and accidentally pushing him down along the way.
