Its becoming normal to play less than 75 games. Out of the top 25 scorers this season only 8 (KD, Bane, Alexander-Walker, Ingram, Randle, Murray, KAT & Kneuppel) hit 75 games.

6 didn’t even hit 65: Luka, Ant, Booker, Wemby, Cade, Pascal. (Wemby qualified for 65 due to the cup game, but didn’t hit 65 as far as his season total points goes)

I don’t know if that’s necessarily true. The nba season this year lasted 173 days. That’s roughly one game every other day if evenly dispersed. You’d only need to add a week to the end or beginning of the season to allow for the all star break.

On one hand, I like that he didn’t care enough about it. But on the other, the scoring title isn’t as prestige as MVP, but it’s still something. I don’t know if I can be good sitting out a game when that 1 game gets me that. I guess he just doesn’t want any chances that single game costs him the ring and the scoring title is the price he’s willing to pay for that.
