I value depth over one solitary star (it’s a rotation after all). My attempt to make this more objective than past years:

Get position estimates from Basketball-Reference
- players with most minutes at PG & SG: guard
- players with most minutes at SG & SF or SF & PF: wing
- players with most minutes at PF & C: big
- exceptions: all players greater than 7 foot are bigs and all players less than 6 foot are guards
include all players above 200 mins, even if not on current roster
- mark those not on current roster with asterisk (credit to KagsTheOneAndOnly for this)
Rank teams based on highest positional VORP without positional VORP leader
- small subjectivity: can move teams at max 1 spot away from ranking

So I have something similar in terms of the Spark Plug Award, which is most charges drawn per 36 minutes regardless of size.

Also idk about these rotation awards, feel like in past years your subjective list is very solid but VORP and the bball reference positions have led this years list astray. Yeah, i doubt a lanky 7’5” guy is diving to the floor to get involved in a lot of tie ups. Also, percentile is different from percentage. Wendell Carter didn’t participate in EVERY SINGLE ONE of his team’s jumps. He just participated in more jump balls than anyone in the league.

Reed Sheppard tied with Ant in the blocks category broke my brain.

Sheppard built his defensive reputation in collage by frequently going for steals and blocks, mostly steals. He is a traffic cone on defense, but he at least tries enough to haunt for stocks.

Ant is a good defender, but i bet the team told him to stop or reduce the heroic blocks, because last year he almost hit the rim twice and a bad fall can be dangerous.

Also, Sheppard played 20 games more.
