You’re welcome Jazz
Good ole fashion win win
Biggest surprise is somehow Rui getting 10 rebounds. Dude seemed allergic to rebounding all season.
He’s been allergic to rebounding his whole career considering he’s built like a brick shithouse
LeBron James Sr. Started the first half, and LeBron James Jr finished the second half.
What a season of highs and lows Lakeshow crew. Houston in the first round how we feeling?
I think we can maybe steal game 1 sheerly through blitzing, doubling, and energy, but I’m sure the rockets will adjust for the future games.
Only way I can see us winning out is if their locker room completely implodes and they shoot 25% from 3 the whole series.
Still excited to see our guys play and give it their best. I expect Smart and Rui to be playoff risers. A Luke 8⁄9 from 3 game to steal one would be fun as well.
Time to channel 2018 LeBron…
Can’t say I’m happy about our chances without Luka/AR without a crazy meltdown by the Rockets. But shit if any team out of the 5 playoff-locked teams can have a meltdown, it’d be the Rockets w/ their current injuries.
Houston have all the right defenders to go at whatever strength we have left, which is our glorious king LeBron James.
In saying that, Lakers in 5.
All for nothing since the Spurs sold
Love these new graphics lol
Knecht scored more than 10pts!
DK is a Jazz merchant, wtf were those garbage time 3s all season long?
Knecht is the same player. His rookie year, he just got a lot of minutes to get into rhythm and score in multiple ways as needed. When his minutes decreased, he became just a three point shooter.
Nah. He’s scared of making mistakes when he plays with the trio of stars. And has been since December 2024 when LeBron yelled at him during a game. Its so obvious when he catches the ball wide open, and pauses, gives up the open 3 and passes back to one of the ball handlers. And then when garbage time rolls around, if he gets inch of space, its going up and usually in.
Knecht is a three level scorer as opposed to just a three point shooter. When the Lakers drafted him, that made sense on an AD led team looking for offensive fire power. He even started some games as a result, because if his minutes are up, he can score. It was like a sort of development year for Knecht and Max Christie (and Austin as a PG).
His minutes went down as we moved some pieces around, and then we traded for Luka. Luka now runs the offense and Knecht is now just a spot up shooter and he’s useless as well as a bad defender. Even when Luka’s out, the Lakers will never revert back into that development phase. So unless he can fit in, he’s gonna get squeezed out.
I think the Lakers should trade him to Washington. This will help them improve overall raise their NBA Level talent level, and the Trae Young / AD pairing is pretty similar to the DLo / AD pairing that Dalton started his career with.
He’s been playing scared around the “stars” since LeBron yelled at him around Christmas 2024.
Because they try to use knecht to be something he’s not, he’s not a spot up 3 and D player.
He’s not a defensive player but he is a movement shooter. Problem isn’t the X’s and O’s its the confidence building. You can tell he was scared to shoot all season. He’d hesitate and pass back to one of the stars even when he was playing okay to start. Then garbage time would roll around and he wouldn’t be paired with the stars and he’d be a quick trigger shooter. Like you saw today.
I still think he’s a really fucking good shooter. He just needs to go on another team where the boost his confidence. For him the problem is, will he ever get the opportunity?
Not on this team. I really like knecht as a player and it sucks his role is, stand in the corner and wait for a pass every once in a while.
He was a completely different player than that in college
He was and is never going to get the opportunity to play like he did in college.
Yea I think thats the actual problem with older players. Building teams don’t want them because they dont fit the timeline, and winning teams don’t have a lot of minutes/touches for them
I don’t think it has anything to do with that. Unless you’re drafted at the top of the lottery, NBA teams are not going to let you play like you did in college. I college every one of these guys was a superstar for their teams. In the NBA they are not.
It’s what happens every year. The older dudes are usually drafted to be nothing more than a “immediate impact” bench player. And they end up in roles that have nothing to do with their strengths.
The ones that get traded then end up looking WAY better on the new team. Ex: (recent players of the year who were older guys and eventually traded) Luka Garza, obi toppin, Jalen brunson(edit: brunson was not traded), buddy hield, frank Kaminski, Doug McDermott.
He actually had good arcs in those shots too.
couldn’t watch the game but that bronny statline 👀
DK4 hates Utah
Getoffmydickerson77 get ready to get blitzed on every touch buddy
Nice to see Ayton have a good game
I DON’T HAVE TO CHEER FOR LOSSES ANYMORE IN THE NEXT DECADE!
I am gonna miss the random pop offs from dudes on G league deals though. Oscar Tshiebwe take a bow.
Jazz are a pathetic franchise letting the G-League Lakers run them out of the building. Hope they don’t get the 1st pick
G League lakers were the best team in the west and they basically played g league level competition this game lol it’s not pathetic or a surprise they got blitzed.
One of the most winningest franchises in history, and had to actively tank in order to become the last team to have a season under 30 wins. But they tank once and all of a sudden they’re trash that needs to be nuked into nothingness. Fuck off with that horseshit.

The beginning of a years-long tanking. Nobody tanks for one season.
If they’d got Flagg last season I think they would’ve ended the tank this year and tried for play-ins.
