[Highlight] Baylor Scheierman hits the rainbow stepback 3 to cap off a 19-6 run by the Celtics backups against the Orlando Magic. He and Ron Harper Jr have combined for 55 points in 3 quarters
Joe Mazzula is pulling Jamal Mosley’s pants down this game
This is the game that ends it; idgaf what happens he can’t come back next season.
Youre welcome
Wouldnt be the first time Mazzulla has exposed the hell out of an opposing HC before lmao
Mosley’s seat has to be scorching hot at this point, right?
Who knows with our bum ass owners
Doc Rivers is gonna look good in blue
this is so evil i love it
Is this a coaching issue or do the magic just suck
yep
Yes
This game got ugly quick for the Magic
Are they trying to win? If they are, then the Magic is probably cooked in the playoffs.
Considering franz just got hurt and they just put in bane who has played six min to this point I’d say they are trying to win
franz got hurt? jesus christ
Limped off and he’s been on the bench since being iced. Also worth noting he had his head in his towel after as well
Their starters are all playing so yes they’re trying to win lol
they need to win to have a chance at avoiding the play-in with the #6 seed. They could fall to #8 with a loss.
Toronto had Brooklyn so I don’t think Orlando expected anything there
It’s more about avoiding dropping to 8 cus of Philly
You’re watching the difference between a team with a well defined offense that all 15 guys know their role in, and a team with no offense beyond a simple action to force a mismatch on Paolo or Franz and asking them to cook one on one.
That quarter was fucking awesome lol
My brother got mad at me for standing up at this point in the game (we were at the game. Our first Celtics game in TD. He could see through me)
I have to imagine this was an awesome first game after (I’m assuming) the initial disappointment seeing the injury report.
Scheierman becoming a legitimate rotational guy has been one of my favorite things about this season.
What an amazing incredible surprise he’s been. For a dude who as far as I am aware was scouted primarily for his skill on the offensive side of the ball, his defense has been unreal. And it feels like he just keeps getting better - I think he really may be a long term piece to surround the Jays with.
Hauser successor.
Almost disrespectful to say that at this point
Dudes game is so much deeper than Hauser’s already, not a slight at Hauser either
I’m even more surprised by him than Queta. I was ready to yeet his ass based on preseason and an underwhelming last year. Thrilled with the magnitude of my wrongness.
The East is so top heavy that the Celtics bench could win a first round series against a team like the Magic.
This is not even our bench. It’s our g league affiliate
I have watched these guys play this year in Portland. Just saying.
this was their bench’s bench. genuinely a pretty embarrassing loss for the magic. if the lose the play in i’d say mosley’s toast
its actually less top heavy record wise than the west this season lol
44 wins was the 6th seed that season, 43 wins is the 10th seed this seaosn
That’s not even our bench, it’s our bench bench. Crustacean Nation Celtics.
To be fair they are called the Orlando Tragic for a reason.
It’s gotta be demoralizing when you play your starters and Boston rolls out the fun police and they just hand you your ass and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Boston’s bench is going to cause problems in the playoffs because teams usually tighten their rotations but I think Mazulla is smart enough to let them loose and they will wear down other teams and then the starters will clean up.
I think you’re right. And I was pissed when he didn’t do that in his first season in the playoffs. Payton Pritchard was riding the bench when we were playing the Hawks in the first round.
They ended up taking us to 6 games, and I’m 100% convinced that Pritchard would have cleaned Trae’s clock, ending the series in 4.
This season, I expect us to play 9 or 10 players in the first round.
Damn, I remember feeling the exact same way lmao.
That Hawks series was so pesky, had no business going that far with them
“Fun police” is excellent
How Mazzulla handles playoff rotations is going to be huge for us. Obviously our bench has been a massive strength all year, but historically bench play is less important during the playoffs (which in theory would bode poorly for us).
I suspect we’ll run a slightly tighter 9 man rotation, with Brown/Tatum/White/Payton/Queta/Hauser/Baylor as the every day players, and the last two some combination of Vuc/Garza/Walsh/Hugo depending on matchups.
Please drug test this man
Who, Joe?
That’s a coin
Last day of the season always has some crazy shit haha
Lmao Magic fans it’s okay we know all about getting dicked by Boston bench
Paolo can’t get around Baylor Scheierman and Magic fans want me to believe he’s an MVP level player
don’t act like baylor wasn’t just stunting on your team a few nights ago lol
#1 overall pick with the green light vs a rotational player
He turned into Curry against us but wasn’t stopping anyone so idk what you’re talking about lol
The Magic aren’t a serious Basketball team
How did you not include Scal saying “IS THAT TROY BOLTON?!” one second after this clip ends.
that had to be drew, no way scal is making that reference lol
You’re probably right, I was clapping too loud to hear properly 😂 that’s why I wanted to hear it again in the replay.
Magic are losing this game on purpose. They want the Hawks to play NY. I just can’t prove it.
Magic have lost several games on purpose this season
the thumbs up celebration is awesome lol
Booper Flagg
Billy Ray Buckets is on fire!
Okay this is excellent
Bitadza has already taken 1 shot at him since he got hot. Probably plus money that Bitadza injures him before the end of this game.
Bowl-Cut Baylor’s game is top one.
This game is crazy 3 guys who all average less than 8 points are going off
Crazy this is like our 8th best guy
This team not making the ‘yoffs.
I’ve watched this about 15 times on repeat and the splash just keeps getting better and better.
This game became a top 10 for me. Been watching the Celtics for 40 years - I’ve never seen 9 to 15 play all the minutes and beat a desperate playoff contender. Orlando Magic were heavy favorites (-11.5 to -13 points). I loved this game.
Saw this post immediately knew Suggs/Banchero had at least 9 turnovers combined
It was Fan Appreciation night at TD and having been able to attend the game…i feel APPRECIATED.
