[Inside the NBA] Charles Barkley on players sitting out: “You rest Wemby… maybe. You rest Joker, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon…You rest LeBron because he’s 102 years old. All these dudes sitting out though, it’s just disrespectful.”
starters rest at the end of the season in every sport
And in the NBA they also rest throughout the season
Don’t forget the beginning!
And eventually they’ll just start resting during the playoffs too.
They do this as well
You won’t believe what they end up doing during the off season
I get it from the players’ and I guess teams’ perspectives, a player’s health is their livelihood, but it just creates such a bad experience for fans
We should have to pay less to go see them play then
I think a better incentive is that every day a player rests they get assigned a fan and they have to go buy something from that fans job and just sit and watch that fan while they sleep and pick their nuts and don’t do what they paid for
Nah they gonna see me bringing that mamba mentality every day in all aspects of my life 😤😤
Being that rest is normally managed by team doctors and coaches. I’m not sure why the players gotta go to a fan job
My rest is normally managed by my doctor and management too
To have the chance at seeing them play*
And yet, these players are not any more successful than before all the resting.
And yet they are still getting hurt. Something isn’t adding up
The fact that all of these guys are coming from rigorous AAU programs where they’ve put multiple NBA seasons worth of length on their knees/joints
It’s not necessarily the rigor only though. A lot of athletes in the before time were constantly playing sports because they didn’t have anything to do. The Lakers old trainer talked a lot about how he’d have players do non basketball things in the off-season to work on other parts of the body to use those parts you don’t use during basketball
I think the focus on one sport at a young age also plays a large role
We count players’ mileage with years and games played or maybe even minutes, but the pace and game style also plays a huge part. It is mostly lower body injuries too, and for good reason.
I think it was Thinking Basketball/Ben Taylor that talked on this a couple of days ago with some limited data. And they explain it better than I could. But it makes logical sense when you think about it.
I think a lot of it could be fixed with scheduling, or having a “longer” season. - Basically giving them more rest between the games somehow. But I am not a trainer or a medical professional, so what do I know.
I think the solution would be to make games affordable. Then fans won’t have to save it for one game a year, and be disappointed when their kid can’t see a superstar. There would be always the next game. That also has its own issues, but I think would be a step in the right direction.
Honestly as a Raps guy, Kawhi “load management” probably was the reason we got the chip in 2019. But I hate this shit now.
This is the difference. In the NFL if I buy tickets for a week 7 game I’m sure the stars are playing unless they’re hurt. And if I buy a week 17-18 game even before the season starts I know there’s a good chance they are sitting. Someone else mentioned pitchers, pitchers are on a rotation. If you want to see a particular pitcher you can kind of plan that out.
In the NBA, if I want to see a particular star play and they’re coming to my town game 14 of the season not only is there no guarantee I’ll see them even that early, I won’t know until right before the game. There’s no way to plan for it.
Yup. Live in NC now and finally saw the Celtics when they came to play the Hornets. Was pumped because Tatum had just returned.
And then day of both Brown and White were out.
Still awesome seeing JT and crew handle business, but a bummer not to see the whole team and esp Brown
I visited Phoenix last April and watched 3 Suns games.
KD didn’t play in any. Wemby was out injured. SGA did the warm up but didn’t play 🤦🏼♂️ Curry played and it was amazing.
NFL is taking over for two reasons, players play, and having way less games makes every game meaningful.
It’s also why I will gladly watch (almost) any NFL game. Not only is every game important for your team but there’s just so much going on standings-wise in (almost) any matchup.
The “almosts” are for games like Browns/Jets, Jets/Raiders, Raiders/Browns but at least then you might get a comedy game.
I wish this sub understood this and didn’t look at it as a min/max spreadsheet for their team. It fucking matters to the average fan if stars play.
NFL has been king for years its not just now taking over
The NFL has been king but the gap is growing.
It’s understandable why fans don’t like it but if you look at the injuries we see every year it’s completely understandable why that happens
There’s more injuries than ever before, resting isn’t changing that.
Or is resting preventing way more injuries from occurring, above & beyond the historically-high injury rates we already have?
Or is resting actually causing more injuries? Seems like there’s less practice and game time than ever before and then when a player does go hard they pull something
No way in hell it’s causing more. The game has evolved into a much higher pace and burst is everything.
The impact that these hard stops and quick changes of direction are causing more injuries.
You act like they don’t have world class medical staff and trainers. Off days don’t mean they sit in bed and do nothing. They are still working out and stretching.
2000 IQ
Yeah and I get it. Of course if I go to a game I wanna see the best players play but if I want my team to stay healthy and make the playoffs, I’m okay with rest days during the season.
Bro you aren’t on the team. It’s entertainment. And people should have some way to generally know what they’re paying for when they go get entertained.
Do people think players in other sports aren’t getting injured? I loosely follow soccer there’s injuries all the time.
I mean in baseball they barely move
Power lifters barely move compared to marathon runners. Big difference in what kind of movement they’re doing though.
Bruh, they can do double headers in baseball because it ain’t that strenuous
Except for pitchers who are very rigorously protected on how many innings they’ll play to protect their arms/shoulders. Which is actually a good example of the difference in attitude towards rest in the sports goes lol.
Well yeah it’s 82 fuckin games.
NHL?
They also only play 20~ minutes a game in the NHL. Look at Connor McDavid’s TOI. It maxed out at 22:50.
It’s an imperfect comparison.
Yea but in the NBA they do it in the beginning and middle too.
I used to sit games out. I still do, but I used to, too.
NBA players rest more than every other sport. Not just end of season.
Soccer probably has the closest number of games to basketball (good players on good teams will play 60+ games a year) and players rest a decent amount. Teams will rest players in less important competitions, or after the season is already decided, or “squad rotation” (basically load management).
Also teams have smart fans who understand the purpose of the practice and in fact get angry if a team isn’t rotating certain players enough
NBA fans would freak out if NBA ever started to operate like big comp soccer does lol.
The opposite is NFL running backs, they run them to the ground and they are out in 3-4 years (or are heavily diminished), like Zeke Elliot who was a beast the first 4 years and then fell off hard, but they are partly to blame, there are guys who hate giving up reps
They also play more than most other sports, have a high risk of injury, and rely more heavily on individual players than in hockey for example
Yes but the last game of the season isn’t a fair representation of the problem
Then teams need to reduce ticket prices of the premier players are not going to play. If I want to see G league players play the I’ll attend a G league game.
Nobody complains about week 18 in the nfl
Enough complaining on week 17, that they added another game. NBA needs to be a 83 game season
Every single team is playing today and not a single game features two teams playing more than 3 starters.
That absolutely does not happen in other leagues. Even losing teams in the NFL or MLB usually start their best players in the final week.
Franchise quarterback Joe Burrow started meaningless games coming off an injury to close the season. Losing MLB teams give full effort playing spoiler in final week.
The best players on nfl teams very often do not play in week 18 if their playoff spot/seed is secure. Even if they do play it’s very often for like one drive or one quarter ,whcih is basically the same as not playing. Often even if a loss could change their seeding position they still sit guys cuz they value the rest above the higher seed.
In the Joe burrow example you gave, if you’re talking about last season, iirc they actually had a small chance of making the playoffs if they won out which is why he played.
Load management throughout the nba season is very annoying and has gone too far for sure, but the last game of the season is not a fair representation of it
I would like to add outside of QB most NFL players probably player 14 out of 17’weeks a season. Which based on math is almost the exact same play rate as 65 out of 82 games which the NBA set their all NBA awards too.
Hockey?
Not really in Soccer though, even if they have the World cup starting just after the season. They have a title fight in their domestic league and the Champions League to win. Kane, Mbappe, Dembele, Haaland and so on are all playing.
Not in the NHL
102 LMAO
by lebron’s final season they will make him old enough to have coached bill russel
I mean Bill Russell was old enough to coach Bill Russell
*Keannu Reeves in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure* “Woah”
Gotta respect the elders, smh.
Until someone on a playoff team (in the rotation) gets hurt in what is a meaningless game for majority of teams. Then it will be just stupid
Then when they get hurt these same heads will say something needs to be done for player safety and health, Chuck is a moron.
Players resting and load management started bc the media and fans deemed the playoffs and playoff success to be all that mattered for player judgement, legacy etc. So this load management and guys sitting out games came about because we all made the regular season unimportant.
Not saying guys don’t like sitting, but they created the narrative and now it’s gone far the other way and they’re mad
If Brunson was playing today in a meaningless game for the Knicks and he got hurt we’d be mad and the media would blame the staff
Edit: for example when RJ Barrett got hurt a couple years ago when a game was already clearly decided (blowout) late in the 4th quarter thibs caught so much heat
I agree with you whole heartily but for non stars some of this is OD lmao
Rotation players for playoff teams are also important
Also there’s tank stuff, the opposite end of the spectrum. That’s where you can have complaints honestly
Fans aren’t the ones who put 82 games on the schedule.
Shortning the season is usually so unpopular on here, because people want constant games, but i really think the season should be at least 20 games shorter, if not more like 30.
It’s the NBA who made the season meaningless because there’s no sporting incentive to compete 100%.
There’s too many teams tanking which means it doesn’t take much for contenders to qualify for the playoffs.
More than half of the NBA teams qualify for playoffs/play-in so they’re basically playing 82 games just to eliminate 10 out of 30.
coaches do not sit players because fans care about rings lol, redditors always come up with the stupidest shit
coaches sit players because the season is way too long and they want their players healthy for the playoffs. coaches prioritize winning in every single sport, this isn’t some lunatic fringe
Even in the playoffs… It still annoys me 14 years later to think about Rose getting hurt against the 76ers in a first round game that the Bulls were winning pretty handily (up, like 15, with a minute to go)…
Teams finding a balance between short term and long term success is part of the game, as much as it might suck for the fans sometimes.
Chuck isn’t a moron. It’s bullshit for fans to pay these prices to go to games and players sit out.
It’s not an issue for fans at home because the cost to watch a game is nothing it doesn’t matter you can just watch something else at no cost.
I believe Chuck has said a shorter schedule would be better also, at least many of the anti sitting out people would prefer a shorter schedule and guys play every game.
This is about fans that actually pay to see the game in the arena and get fleeced. By the visiting and home teams. “Jokic is in town I gotta see this game!” And he sits. After you shell out $500 for some okay 200 level seats.
Fucking bullshit.
People pay a lot of money to see these stars play so he has a point.
It’s not meaningless when fans paid to watch them play.
It is kinda insane how clear it is people who made this argumwnt dlnt wach games in person or even in tv. Man if i know jokic isnt playing cause he sleepy i wont sit through 30 minutes of ads
PG at the. Olympics.
This isn’t a new phenomenon
It kind of is. I mean MJ played 82 games almost every year and so did all those dudes back then. Playoff seeds were already locked in then too
MJ played 15 seasons for 1072 games at average pace of ~93 with several years off (>328 missed). KD’s played 18 seasons for 1200 games (114 missed) at an average pace of ~97.
The amount of stress on the body is much higher than it was in MJs day. He was an animal and competitor of the highest order, but we cannot say definitively that he would not rest nor could we say that if he did he would not be injured.
The truth is it is a value proposition. Play all 82 games and potentially have a career ending injury that follows you into your retirement for the sake of being perceived as tough, or extend your playing years by a half decade and earn an additional 100 million dollars.
Would it be foolish and vain or noble take the former?
I mean, even without life altering i juries, we are seeing in increase in muscle and ligament strains. Luka is and Reaves are missing the playoffs because of grade 2 strains. We cant say anyone specifically is getting them because of a specific amount of extra movement, but we are clearly seeing the top players play less games this era because of injuries that miss a few weeks, the load management games missed are a lot less than that.
People always talk to the stress on the body is higher these days but so is conditioning and nutrition. They were eating burgers and beer and doing cocaine every night back then. Now they got custom tailored everything for their bodies and health
conditioning and nutrition only go so far
nothing prevents wear and tear , literally nothing
And it still doesn’t stop an ACL from tearing, pal.
This argument falls flat when you remember the 80s had a higher pace than today and guys still played 82.
It’s wise to rest, but let’s not act they were jogging and standing around back then. Someone like Kareem was running basket to basket to bang under the hoop every play.
They were effectively playing in sandals compared to the advances in everything from shoes to medicine nowadays, too. The only fix is shrinking the schedule by 10-20 games, which nobody with a stake in the revenue is voting for.
Its the decel and cutting and screens that does it.Not running up and down the court
The pace was much slower back then. If that era played in today’s game, a lot of them would’ve rested or out with season-ending injuries
Then shorten the season make every game matter
I would love a shorter season.
It’s a real problem but this is just a lazy and unrealistic solution ($$). They need to address the playstyle so genuinely asking, any suggestions there?
They could utilize the bench and still play the stars every game on less minutes these teams operate like they got 3-4 total NBA players and a black hole on the bench. Those guys can get work they can do minutes nothing stopping them from playing
Aight then the nba can keep watching its stars get season ending injuries im sure that’ll help them
tighten up calls with traveling/gather steps allow more contact on defense to keep players from blowing by as often crack down on moving screens let players be more physical off-ball as well allow LESS contact against post-players to incentivize post-play, which is safer remove the defensive 3 seconds rule to make driving harder remove the short corner 3
I already know someone’s loading up their pace stats from 1960 not knowing what that actually means and hand-checking that happens on every play still
The pace was not slower in the 60s though.
MJ retired over 20 years ago.
Kobe had 82 game season in 2011 at like 34 or something. Lakers were in top4 and thats my first player check. I am recently back in to nba and this is new to this level especially. Getting 82⁄82 used to be a badge of honour.
Essentially no star is even getting close to 82 now. So really it would be the difference between 66 and 67
Kevin Durant played 78 games this season.
Was gonna mention lol, not just a star but one that’s 37 years old
How can we talk about iron men without mentioning Karl Malone and John Stockton?
Stockton only missed 4 games in 1989-90 and 18 games in 1997-98. He played 82 games every season otherwise from 1984-85 to 2002-03.
Malone only missed a total of 10 games from 1985-86 to 2002-03. Missed 40 games in 2003-04 due to injury.
Guys weren’t resting back then.
Lebron played 82 in 2018 when he was in his mid 30’s.
I don’t care about the 82nd game, but any player, and the fans defending them, arguing that the can’t play more than 70-75 games in their 20’s are fucking delusional.
What happened to him the next season?
That was before the modern era, his body would’ve broken down sooner if he tried his approach today.
It’s just like football in Europe, the players are burning out younger while playing a physically more demanding style.
The data supports it, the eye test supports it and player testimony supports it.
Except MJ was MJ. Plus his 18 month baseball sabbatical gave him less mileage than expected.
And he last played 23 years ago
Everybody was standing around half the game. They didnt cut like players do now, the ball didnt move as much. It’s a more dangerous sport now
It’s not healthy. NBA needs to change the rules back to allow defenders to stop offensive players and slow the game back down
And their careers only lasted 10 seasons
Who are we talking about? Karl Malone played 19 seasons. Not including his last season (at age 40) where he injured his knee on the Lakers he played 81, 49, 82, 81, 80, & 81 games from age 34-39.
Chuck is the first in line to roast the losers in the playoffs too lol dude only knows how to whine
They rested Barkley too back in the day “the Suns placed Barkley on the injured list on April 12, 1993, with a contusion and strained right shoulder, allowing him to rest for the final week of the season.”
charles said resting stars on playoff teams with wear and tear is cool in the clip
It’s ok to take issue with what Charles is saying as it pertains to the modern game, but also acknowledge Charles’ era played more games than this era. Just because Charles took a week off once doesn’t mean these eras are on the same level when it comes to a willingness to play.
Honestly, it’s the same as the whole panic over tanking this season. Something that’s been going on for over a decade, that people suddenly talk about like it’s a problem that started this season
This show just sat out all of March…
They in their Tracy McGrady era
Barely even on air now
Agreed.
What Amazon offers is much better now.
EJ Kenny and Chuck always do March Madness every year that’s why the show isn’t on in March
They were working in March though. They were doing March Madness coverage all throughout the tournament.
i wonder if there was some other kind of basketball event occurring tied to the month of march that most of these guys were working
Must be a new fan or you’re trying to make a joke.
It’s the last game of the season
Genuinely who gives a shit
People who paid to watch
It has literally always been this way in the NBA though.
And it’s like this in any sport, if there is a more important competition coming up in soccer, team’s rotate their squad. Players rest in the NFL if seeding is secured etc.
Seems like an old man yelling at clouds moment
Kobe played all 82 games his first two solo trips to the finals 😤
yea last wk of NFL season is always a boring backups game for at least half the league
Then why are we playing an 82nd game?
that’s a great question…Maybe we shouldn’t?
If they changed it to 72 games the same thing would happen anyways
NBA players rest all season long though.
Why would you choose to watch the last game of the regular season besides the fact the tickets were probably $20
Why even broadcast last games of the season then. Who cares. Just play to nobody.
Because the last time we did that David Robinson scored 71
Tickets are sold for same price for every game if you buy from team box office.
Why would you though? It’s season ticket holders who’re on the hook but they make it up with other games.
Then again, why would you pay for those tickets knowing it is the last game of the season and most players are sitting for the playoffs?
There’s 82 games. You know what you’re signing up for with the last game of the season
Even in the NFL which has 17 games it’s not uncommon for players to get rested if they have seeding secured
Players sitting out the last game of the season has been that way for decades… if these fans don’t know that yet that’s on them. It’s not even just a NBA thing
If wemby plays tonight and gets hurt, would the spurs fans that paid to watch be happy he played or mad he got hurt in what is a meaningless game? If Murray or AG got hurt and it ended the nuggets season where every year counts, would you be happy? Anyone spending money on tickets tonight when this has been the trend for years in every sport can only blame themselves. Its not a game in the middle of the season
Second to last game, third to last game, who cares? Season is done right? Where is the line? Do the games matter or not? Do they still charge for tickets or not? Do the broadcasters still charge their subscribers or not? Do the broadcasters still pay for the games or not?
Lmfao what
Teams that are trying to win care about seeding, so a natural line is drawn and its usually around the last couple of games depending on circumstance
Let’s not act like this is slippery slope logic where teams trying to win just don’t give a shit at game 40 and beyond
They’re not implying this will eventually to teams not giving a shit at game 40, they’re implying that whether it’s the last game or first game, it’s still being sold and advertised as a product that is paid for by people. Players still get paid for that game too, so it’s not like they’d be doing it for charity.
To directly answer the question then yes the last game doesn’t matter if seeding isn’t a factor. This isn’t new and will never change. It’s also not unique to the NBA
Bruh you can’t use the slippery slope argument for every situation 😭
Stupid ass shit, I swear 😂
Lol anyone buying tickets to the last game of the season thinking you’re gonna see stars play, thats on them
My girlfriend surprised me with one of these games as a Christmas/bday gift a few years ago, I still had fun but she was sad to see that none of the players she’s heard of played. I understand the reasoning for it, but it also makes the 65 game rule make sense for the customers paying crazy prices to maybe see their favorite player once in their lifetime.
The 65 game rule will not solve this specific issue, even the NFL has this issue. Unless you want to have an 82 game rule, players resting the last game will happen in every sport, especially the NBA.
82 game rule would be unfathomably based.
Yall would rather blame “the people” than the organizations sending out garbage end of the season products
its like this in every sport though, why are you guys acting surprised?
Im not acting like it’s not in every sport
It shouldn’t be in any sport
Why are you defending it’s existence at all?
We can do better jesus NBA fans are so weirdly defensive about this kind of shit (as well as the entire concept of tanking)
You basically said people are stupid to buy tickets that late which is kinda arrogant af imho
My thinking is the NBA and the other leagues should provide better products
Im not gonna sit here and talk down to people for wanting more
I generally agree with the sentiment. But any sport where you play 82 games in a season requires some level of injury and risk management for players. Shorten the season. Less total games might also result in more meaningful games.
It’s such a stupid and defeatist attitude to say “why are you surprised, it happens everywhere, so let it happen”.
100%
Cannot stand these types of fans. Absolutely no vision for a better tomorrow
Like just okay with less than the best
So what about when a player gets hurt in a meaningless game and all the people paying much more for playoff tickets can’t see them?
Nah man I rather Wemby, SGA, and Jokic all miss the playoffs so some ‘players answer to us’ absolutists can get their rocks off. 🙄 Like I get the principle in general, but this happens in the NFL too, and elsewhere. I’d like to hear a proposal for dealing with this specific issue.
It’s so funny to use ‘A vision for a better tomorrow’ for fucking NBA games, y’know what that vision for a better tomorrow for me means? Watching Wemby in the playoffs, something that almost didn’t happen because he got injured just trying to get to the 65 game mark.
Would “the people” rather see their teams best player snap their ACL in the last game of the season for 0 reason or watch them go on a playoff run
They don’t care, they don’t see the players as people. Just rich bozos who should be happy they are paid a boatload of money to run their bodies into the ground before the age of 30 so they can enjoy the rest of their lives in pain. But good thing they have all that money, because good lord I better be able to see every superstar everytime I attend a game.
Even though I think the players sit too much I agree with you here. If it’s a meaningless game for the team players have been resting in these situations in all sports since the beginning of time.
You are entirely correct. However, I want to bring up that the last game is high risk and high reward. I remember the last day of the 2011 baseball season as the best night of baseball in my life. There were 4 games that determined who made the playoffs and two of them ended after midnight. The last one had Evan Longoria hitting a walk off Homer to come back from down 7-0 as well as like 11 games back at the beginning of the month.
So, you buy those tickets and you might get a dramatic and super important game. But you might (probably will) get a minor league game.
A quick Google search and this showed up: “the Suns placed Barkley on the injured list on April 12, 1993, with a contusion and strained right shoulder, allowing him to rest for the final week of the season.”
Phoenix puts Barkley on injured list - UPI Archives https://share.google/jbpuA648BA9TWbqUe
It says in the quote you shared that he was injured.
So, are the players listed out today they too are “injured”.
Some sure but some literally just say rest
A few just say soreness.
I mean sure but it’s also the case that Charles for the first 12 seasons of his career never played less than the 65 game amount that disqualifies players now. Those were also all the seasons where he made an all nba team. He was very much available regularly.
Am I the only one who think it’s pretty fun to see some end-of-bench guy you’ve never heard of randomly go off for 30 points in these games?
I remember in 2023, before he was part of our rotation, Peyton Watson blocked Steph Curry twice in the final game of the regular season, and that was sick af to see.
And thus the legend of Peyton Swatson began
Right now my Celtics are beating an almost fully healthy Magic team that’s trying to escape the play-in and the Celtics are resting nearly everyone. It’s fun to see the bench guys step up and it shows just how deep the NBA is. However, the difference is that I’d usually watch this game live if everyone were playing, but with nothing to play for, I’ll just be looking at the box score.
I mean if you actually like basketball you don’t care who is playing. Like i could honestly careless who is playing. I just love watching the game. Just like March madness. I had no clue who I was watching for the most but I had a blast watching
It was always like this lol come on now
Can we stop saying it’s “disrespectful”?
I think fans and the league all agree they’d rather see a healthy matchup in the post-season than risk some freak injury in the last game of the season.
Performative.
Those same people complaining will be the same ones calling coaches idiots if any of their top stars got injured in a meaningless Game 82.
Basically damn if you do, damn if you don’t.
Why would they play for no reason? The incentive structure favors sitting them.
Stop complaining, the playoffs are next week.
Does Charles ever actually talk basketball or is it just complaining about his he sport.
He acts like this just started. If you have locked in on seeding or have nothing to play for, a team would be dumb as hell to play starters and risk injury. Hell the post season is pretty much another season
[deleted]
I’d happily pay for league ass if they didn’t black out local games. Making it hard to actually get your product is the car dealer business model.
BREAKING NEWS - Grass is green and the sky is blue.
Star players sit the last game of the season in EVERY SPORT. Every top QB will not play the last game of the season if their game means nothing before the playoffs. Other players may play a half and thats it. When baseball had a much bigger expanded September roster, you saw only rookies and minor leaguers play the final game(s) of the season. Why is this an issue only in basketball?
Is Ro changing Chuck’s voice?
NBA players are getting injured more because they play harder.
Everything people don’t like about the NBA rn stems directly from teams maximizing their chance to win a championship. Until you change those incentives I don’t know how you can complain about this.
Load management is important but there does need to be a balance. It’s true, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Isaiah Thomas, and Larry Bird played 82 games but that’s why they also had short 11 or 12 year careers and now players can play at an elite level like Steph, Durant, and LeBron for 20 years
Chuck if they dont load manager this players will not last 10 years. Not every nba player is built like lebron.
disrespectful to whom? to the fans who want their teams to actually win the championship? why would any fan be upset over his team acting rational?
LeThuselah
ya, im done with NBA. Always a fan of Chuck tho.
Wemby has to olay the last game as hes at 64 games played, if he sits out the last game he wont be eligible for awards which we know he wants to win.
Can we re cancel this show.
What’s worse, disrespect or getting injured in a meaningless game while you have the 1 seed clinched? I still think it sucks generally when players rest on random games and you have no way as a casual fan to know about it months in advance when you purchased your tickets.
Well you guys dont respect the In season tournament title.
This happens every year, who cares honestly. The playoffs are like two months long if you go all the way, you need players to hold up for that.
Yeah Luka should play with his injuries Charles Barkley is an idiot stop listen to old ass like him
Rich coming from a guy who admitted it over and over he dont watch any NBA games that their crew are not going to cover in their air time.
