Sounds inconsequential but this is a very deep draft and outside of the obvious top 5 or 6, the top 25 players are all rated similar. You may get a top 10 level pick from a weaker draft.

Opposite. They have to suck. In general, the better the pick, the suckier the team.

For this year, if Portland suck enough to get the 1-14 pick, they get to keep it. However, making the playoffs will guarantee they’ll have a pick 15 or higher, which means it goes to Chicago.

FYI if Portland make the playoffs then Chicago will get their pick, which will be somewhere between the 15th-18th spot
