Yeah I’d take Gordon all day (slightly biased). He’s been a #1 option in the past so you know he can be at that level if he’s the go-to guy even if it is on a mediocre team. Also he is the supreme example of starring in your role when it comes to doing what he does on the Nuggets. And on top of all that, he has somehow gotten better over the years and is now a legitimate 3 point threat who will make you pay if you leave him open in the clutch.

Amen Thompson is surely in that group.

I’m not hating on AG at all cause the dude is great but that’s kinda crazy saying he’s capable of going off for 50. Like sure technically, in the same way Bam is capable of 83 and Brandon Jennings 55, but it’s such an outlier game it’s not worth brining up. Mostly consistent offense? Sure. Spacing threat vertically and horizontally? Latter is a stretch but sure. Gonna give you 50? Dude needs the planets to align and a deal with the devil.

He’s a real good player but I mean come on, he’s got 20 games TOTAL, in his whole career, with 30 or more points. For reference Lebron has done it 6 times this year

Ausar with a shot becomes an actual superstar. No clue if he gets it, but the rest of the game is there. He can drive, cut and pass. His decision making suffers almost entirely because he decides not to shoot on drives.

He just happens to be missing by far the most important skill for an NBA player. But he’s complete other than that.

It’s why trading him is so difficult. If he does develop it, it’ll be like the Clippers trading Shai.
