LeBron James averages in three games without Luka/AR: 28.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 12.3 assists, 2.3 steals | 60/46/60 shooting splits | 65.9% TS, 66% eFG | +/- +15.7 | 2-1 record
Incredibly limited sample size obviously, but damn he’s been shockingly good since their main 2 went down. By GameScore, he’s just had 3 of his top 10 games this season, and 2 of his top 4 (last night vs. PHX was #1).
Is there potentially enough there to push the Lakers through the first round? Feels like this will be the first postseason in ages where he’s fairly/fully healthy, - just old
Also, on a related but unrelated note, after all the earlier season discussion about his impact to the team and on/off numbers, he actually does have a positive on/off split now, - the Lakers are +2.2 points better when he’s on the court vs. off.
