man celtics are clicking
Did I accidentally stumble into r/celtics
People don’t usually comment in Celtics PGTs if they win.
Plus JB only had 7 FTs this game to go along with a +/- of +24 so the haters haven’t quite got enough material to shit on him with
But rest assured they’re waiting in the wings lmao
did we seriously tie the single-game three-pointer record again
Why did they decide to pass up open threes in the 4th?
Pelicans decided to employ the novel tactic of defending outside the paint.
I yelled every time they went to the hoop down the stretch lol
Joe in the huddle—“do you really want that record? Is that why we play this game?”
One more three man lmao
Holy batman 29 3’s
Clinched the second seed just in time to hide our guys from rest our guys against the Magic
Clinched #2 seed. I don’t think this team knows how to tank.
What gap year
The only tanking Joe believes in is tanking for the championship.
Joe believes in bringing tank and placing it in the paint and making the players play around it
Small story line of this game is Hauser kept his 40% 3pt streak hope alive. He will literally have to go 6⁄6 or 7⁄8 from 3 on game 82, but it is possible.
I’m praying to the gods the streak isn’t broken…
29 3s. Could have broken the record
There were 2 or 3 missed wide open 3’s in the 4th quarter. I think the pressure of breaking the record got to the young guys.
Luka Garza dumbass with putbacks and dunks instead of just doing the right basketball play ajd kicking out for three
Lmao
Was at the game and this is personal for me now
I could tell. The crowd was getting anxious at the end and wanted it haha
It was completely opposed to last year when we were close. Last year everyone stayed, ever shot had a hum in the crowd and every miss was like a dagger. It felt like we lost that game. This time tho the crowd was half empty by the time we got to 25 and even then on 29 it was like “yeah yeah we all know we won’t get it again”
Look I’m not saying I would do it but if I’m the coach of the 7 seed I’d consider just leaving the Celtics wide open until they make 25 or 26 3s in game 1, just to see
That would be the most anime tactic of all time, letting the Celtics become their own enemy once they hit the 29th made 3
