With wiggins and McCain basically sitting the game yesterday against the clippers I can see them getting more game time against the nuggets. With their shooting joe and j will are definitely key members of the rotation

Joe’s been on a heater, these last two games are good for Dort to keep his shooting streak going, and to play with a different rotation of guys. Maybe keep him on the hot seat a little in terms of the minutes he should expect.

Kenrich, Wiggins, and McCain could all benefit from some extended reps going into the playoffs. Gives Mark a better idea of how he should utilize them.

And then Topic just needs more NBA minutes in general so these will be good practice games for him. You could throw Carlson and Sandfort into this viewpoint as well. None of them are playing in the playoffs anyways.

EDIT: I didn’t realize he hadn’t played 20+ minutes in enough games to be eligible for All-Defense. So I take it back, he’ll play in both these last two games (probably exactly 20 minutes in each). He’s not going to get All-Defense though, so it won’t matter.

It’s called Thunder/Nuggets/Spurs all trying to avoid second round matchups with each other. They are hunting the Lakers/Rockets winner. It could wind up being some very strange basketball as Denver closes vs. OKC and Spurs.
